We are not receiving the same kind of education our forefathers received. In fact education has evolved ever since. Our forefathers were more accustomed to the traditional classroom, where a teacher would teach a group of twenty or more children in a traditional setting such as a classroom. For our generation, education has certainly evolved to greater heights. Education now offers greater opportunities and flexibility. I am not suggesting that the traditional classroom has disappeared for good but it certainly is not the only kind of option available, which allows us to pursue education. I have noted that individuals who belong to generation X (early 1960s to the early 1980s) tend to still prefer the traditional way of learning in the classroom. These individuals are still getting used to all the technology that is now used in delivering education. On the other hand, there is another group of individuals who belong to generation Y (early 1980s to the early 2000s). They seem to be very used to and accustomed to the techniques used in delivering education. I personally belong to generation Y and I like many individuals, feel accustomed to the new techniques and technology that are being used today. I have been very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to not only get traditional education but also to try other forms of education. This kind of opportunity was not available to our forefathers who only had the opportunity to experience the traditional form of education. I have taken a variety of online courses. I prefer online courses over the traditional classroom most of the time, because online courses offer the flexibility to work from the comfort of home and are available around the clock, regardless of the time. I have seen both sides of the coin when it comes to the forms of education and I think it would be safe to conclude that, online education has…...

In biology, Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is a change in the genetic material of a population of organisms from one generation to the next. Now, scientific theories- evolution and the big bang- are being taught as fact to students across the nation. One type, also known as natural selection or species adaptation, is when specific changes occur in one species.
