Did you know that exercise improves your short-term memory? A new study done by Dr. David Marchant, shows that exercise enhances your short-term memory. In two experiments, active and healthy participants were shown lists of words to learn either before or after exercising or before and after a period of rest. The results were that when the participants recalled the right after learning and when they had exercised before they learned the words that gave the best result. When participants were asked to wait 30 minutes between learning and recall and exercising before or after learning was better than resting.
