1.The need for immediate gratification[2]. Our world focuses on the presence. All services are made to be instant. So when we see something that guarantees the instant gratification in order to satisfy one of our needs, we’d like to buy it instantly. Especially when credit cards have made process of purchasing much easier.
2.We get emotional high out of spending. Many of us enjoy spending. We buy because it "feels great" . However when we come down from that emotional high state, we would put the purchase behavior into question. This is when we put our budget at the risk.
