Explain Why Fahrenheit 451 Never Said It Was In The Future

Personally, If the book Fahrenheit 451 never said it was in the future my guess would be it took place in the 50’s because it is very similar to the holocaust. You can’t read books: You can’t be jewish, Correction Facilities for people who read books: Concentration Camp, The Firefighter: The Nazi Solider. They are too connected to just be a random coincidence. This book was written in 1953 so this is why it's so similar to this era. Not only are the book readers being killed off but the firefighter are BURNING BOOKS this is another “coincidence”. But you see this is what I think, can you really blame the nazi soldiers they just did what they were told was right. And then can you blame the firefighters because they are doing what they are told.

...“Those who don't build must burn. It's as old as history and juvenile delinquents.”(Bradbury 89). In the novel Fahrenheit 451, the main idea centers around the importance of human connection.
