Commemorative Speech

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and fellow students. We are gathered here this evening to celebrate the graduation of Rockmart High School’s class of 2006. We have already come a long way, but there are still miles and miles ahead of us. We survived a lot to get here. We survived the grueling class hours, the teachers, and the mountains of homework. We also survived the five bomb threats we had this year, and the lockdown that came with them. We could not have survived this far without our parents to back us up. They were there to encourage us to believe that we could achieve what we set out to do. It was our parent’s support that gave us hope when we were down and struggling. It is for these reasons that today’s victory also belongs to our parents. Together we stand here on the edge of time itself looking to the future. Now we must seize the future and strive to be excellent. As for me, I miss all my friends and all the cool teachers. I will miss people accidentally setting themselves on fire in Ag Mechanics class. I will miss the morning TV show with Bryce’s Safari Adventure. I will miss the Friday night football games, and all the other sports. Even a part of me will miss the bomb threats. Earlier I called this a high school, but it is more like an airport terminal with hundreds of planes. As we each go to board a plane we wonder, “Where will it take us”, but one thing is for sure once we depart each of us will soar high, fast, and far towards the horizon.

Tribute To My Teachers (Speech)
Throughout the years of adolescence, when we are at our most vulnerable state, when we are still struggling to reconcile ourselves to the adult world, there are a few who stand by us and help us through our moments of uncertainty. These people can be anyone-a friend, a parent, a sibling, a priest, a teacher.
Today is a special day. Today, we recognise the great sacrifices that our teachers have made for us, and today we commemorate those who have taken up the task of educating us, and guiding us through life itself. Today, we honour our teachers, all of you who have in one way or another, played a part in the shaping of who we are and who we are yet to be.
A teacher is more than an educator. A teacher can play all roles-the roles of a friend, counsellor or mentor. A teacher can be the guiding force in our lives even after we pass through the portals of our school and step into the world that lies ahead to be conquered.
In these years of our youth and adolescence, when the friends we make are likely to be the friends we keep, it is our teachers who guide us on our path. When we fall, more often than not, it is a teacher who picks us up, dusts us off and gets us back on our feet. When sorrow comes our way, and all who surround us can offer no solace, it is not uncommon for a teacher to lend us a shoulder to cry on.
How many of us have gone to a teacher for help? I can assure you today that all of us have at one point or another, sought a teacher's help, be it help with homework, or help with a difficult situation at hand. How many of us have been comforted by a teacher in moments of distress? How many have received good counsel from a teacher, or had a teacher listen to our problems?
Today we, the students of IJ, would like to honour you, our teachers, for all that you have done for us. You have always been there when we needed you most. You have never failed us in any way. You have accepted our failings with good humour. You have always forgiven us our many wrongs. You have never turned away anyone who sought your help. You have never begrudged us your grey hairs. Today, we honour you for the wonderful people that you have been, that you are, that you always will be. Today we can say that although we may be aggravating at times, perhaps even many times, we appreciate you for who you are.
You have been all things to us. You have been a friend, a counsellor, a mentor, a guide, an educator. You have shown us by example the way to lead our lives as we continue to tread the roads of our lives. You have given us your love, and we could not ask for more.

Introduction Speech

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It gives me great pride to be here today, judging what must be the finest, most wonderful exponents of dance in this country. It is also an honor that I have been given an opportunity to represent my company (company name) at such a huge occasion!

They say fortune favors the brave and it indeed takes a lot for kids of such tender age, to perform here in front of all these people, on prime time television. Many of us can dance, but only in the comfort of our homes, but hopefully the exhibition of talent we saw today might inspire our hidden talents to come forward!

It was a tough competition to judge indeed. The level of performances has been absolutely top-notch. But the one performer that stood out because of his/her sheer determination, talent and energy in the performance only will take away the prize. So without further ado, the winner of this competition is Kim Angel Dimalitao!

WELCOME SPEECH
The School year at EMA EMITS COLLEGE PHILIPPINES] is about to commence and I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you all.
Education can be likened to a great big canvas and this year we would like our students to throw as much paint as they can on the canvas of their education. In my welcome speech I appeal to the students, the parents and the teachers to value and uphold the importance of intrinsic motivation.
This year I have no doubt that our students will throw themselves into their education, they will make the most of the canvas of opportunity that they are offered and they will paint the goals that they aspire to. I have no doubt that if they remain motivated in the classroom, then they will achieve their goals. Their education is sound, creative and innovative and [EMITS] , together with the parents and the students themselves, will help to make this a reality.
Help! Four letters that can mean so much. Four letters that can be seen as a dynamic, planned action - or as a plea!
This year, the Parents Association will continue to tirelessly take action to help raise funds for EMA EMITS COLLEGE PHILIPPINES . The Board of Governors will continue to take action to help strategically plan towards ensuring an educationally sound and innovative future for our School.
The teachers at EMA EMITS COLLEGE PHILIPPINES] will take action and help the students to achieve academic, sporting, cultural and life-long learning. May I take this opportunity to thank the teachers for their continued professionalism, excellence and dedication. It is your teacher motivation and motivation in the classroom that will help to create a year that is bright with embraced opportunities.
However, even more importantly, the students themselves will have to take action to further their education. Our young ladies and gentlemen too are beginning to realize that they cannot merely sit back and expect the greater School community to do everything for them - they are realizing the importance of self-motivation and are prepared to help themselves.
This is our goal as the year at EMA EMITS COLLEGE PHILIPPINES commences! Let's continue to work together to help each other to be our best for the world! Acceptance Speech

First off all, I would like to say thanks everyone for being here with me tonight. Without you all, I could not have done this. I thank my parents, my friends, and all of my colleagues, who have all had an impact and have inspired me one way or another. I may be best actor now but that does not mean that I'm a winner. I'm only a winner if I realize that it's you all who's given me the privilege of standing here tonight and gaining this award. I thank you all once again, all you lovely people. All the fans, the friends, the family, and what else, but my beloved ancestors, who are probably looking down from the heavens now with wide smiles across their face. Well I tell you what; I'll be joining them some day won't I? But till then, I promise to give my best on this planet and make my footprint the deepest, and the biggest, and the most positive one on earth. Thank you everyone. I'm a winner tonight, and the credit goes to all of you. Thank you.

Keynotes Speech
Thank you for that kind introduction and thank you for inviting me to speak today. I'm very pleased to be here to join you in celebrating this wonderful occasion.
First of all, congratulations to all of you. You should be very, very proud of yourselves for accomplishing this goal. Well done. I know you must all be excited to get your hands on your diplomas and run out into the world. But as cartoonist Garry Trudeau said, “Commencement speeches were invented largely in the belief that outgoing college students should never be released into the world until they have been properly sedated.”
That's where I come in as the key note speaker. I'll try not to sedate you too badly.
To the families of those graduating and earning certifications, congratulations to you and you should know that your support through this process made an enormous impact. I'm sure you're very proud of your graduates as they close this portion of their lives and prepare for their next steps into a new career.
Graduation is one of those steps in life that defines a coming of age - the ending of one era of life, as a student or the one being shown the ropes, and moving on to a new stage in which you are a leader, a doer and an achiever in the wider world. I'm sure many of you have firm plans and have a good idea of what's coming next, some of you have a pretty good idea of what you want to do next, a dream and a lot of hope to get you there, and some of you are just amazed that you got to this graduation point at all! Well the coming times will be exciting, they will be trying but they will be all dependent on you and your determination.
I had big plans for myself. I was a graduate of EMA COLLEGE PHILLIPINES, and I was going to fill in your info here with the idea of being humorous - for instance: be single for life, never have kids, drive a corvette, be a millionaire in 5 years, travel the world in my yacht, get elected to Congress in a year or so, wear my hair long, live in a big house, play quarterback for the Broncos/or input local team).
You see, I planned to take it easy, not work too hard and enjoy life.
As you graduate and take on new challenges, chances are you won't be making a million bucks at your first job. In fact you might not get the first or second or third job you interview for. You may never become a CEO of a fortune 500 company in your life, but that's OK. The important thing is you have already taken the initial steps needed to build a more promising future. Every class you've taken, every lab, every essay written and every certification you've earned, they have all been preparing you to adapt to change and challenges. Especially 8 am and Saturday classes - I know those were tough! But as you know, it's a tough world out there- nothing will be handed to you - you have to earn it - and it will mean more to you because you will earn it.
Let me leave you with this thought from Ralph Waldo Emerson. “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.”
You're now armed with one of the most important tools needed to forge your path ahead. It's not the diploma itself that counts - it's about what you've learned along the way and what you do with the education you've gotten in your journey to graduation today. Your future is in your hands - no one else's. Seize this opportunity.

Good afternoon every one, it’s great to see you all here, thank you for coming. My name is Louis Taylor, friends call me Lee sometimes. I am a software engineer by profession and working with ABC Ltd. Today we are here to know about new software so that we can take most of it. Firstly, we will look how it work, next we will discuss where can we use it, then we will learn what are its advantages and finally we will discuss what precautions are required to kept in mind while implementing it.

Commencement Speech

To my parents, guests and fellow graduates, good morning. My name is Garry Padua and I represent one of the many voices of this graduating Class of 2013.
Frederick Douglass, abolitionist and author, noted that "if there is no struggle, there is no progress," and I am sure that we can all attest to the validity of this statement, whether it was struggling through genetics, life away from home, or the Chicago winters. As a result of the various challenges we have faced, we all have become stronger, more refined, and more intelligent versions of ourselves. Today, as we gather with family, friends, and faculty to commemorate the past four years and to reminisce about our formative college experiences, let us reflect on who we have become and who we can become.
This Convocation ceremony is important because tomorrow we will be graduates of the Ema Emits College Philippines. Tomorrow we will be among the few who were privileged enough to walk this Quad, to partake in the MARTIAL court, and among the few young adults around the world with a bachelor's degree.
Right now the question is, how do we move forward? What does it mean to be good stewards of the education we have been privy to?
First, we must acknowledge those who helped make our college experience possible. Today, as we prepare to move toward the future, it is pertinent that we hold fast to our support networks, those who have encouraged and grounded us throughout the years. Parents, families, friends, and mentors, I take this moment to thank you! We ask that you continue to support us as we embark on our future endeavors.
Like many of my classmates, I came to the Ema Emits College Philippines because I desired a college experience that would challenge me. Fellow classmates, we did not choose the Ema Emits College Philippines because it was easy. Why then should we look for a life of comfort and ease after receiving our diplomas and plunging into the "real world"?
We have a responsibility to our communities, to our world, no matter our majors or aspirations. Whether we are in company, finance, or academia, we must not solely focus on selfish ideals, prestige, or aspirations of grandeur, rather, we must challenge ourselves to be civically engaged. Life after college should not be about living sedentary or quiet lives. The challenge is to take these past four years, the connections made, the unique passions, to take this degree and to do something relevant and positive with it.
Today is our last day as undergraduates, and as we prepare for our future, as we move into tomorrow, let us hold fast to the words of Frederick Douglass, remembering that "if there is no struggle, there is no progress," and that progress in our own communities, in our world, can only happen when brilliant minds like us decide to become engaged.
