FALLING IN LOVE BY: ANONYMOUS
When you think of your past love, you may view it as a failure. But when you find a new love, you view the past as a teacher. In the game of love, it doesn't really matter who won or who lost. What is important is you know when to hold on and when to let go! You know you really love someone when you want him or her to be happy, even if his or her happiness means that you're not part of it. Everything happens for the best. If the person you love doesn't love you back, don't be afraid to love someone else again, for you'll never know unless you give it a try. You'll never truly love a person you love unless you RISK FOR LOVE. Love strives in hurting. If you don't get hurt, you don't learn how to love. Love doesn't hurt all the time, though the hurting is still there to test you and to help you grow. Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it's called falling in love because you don't force yourself to fall. You just fall. You cannot finish a book without closing its chapters. If you want to go on, then you have to leave the past as you turn the pages. Love is not destroyed by a single failure nor won by a single caress. It is a lifetime venture in which we are always learning, relearning, discovering, rediscovering, and growing. The greatest irony of love is LETTING GO WHEN YOU WANT TO HOLD ON and HOLDING ON WHEN YOU NEED TO LET GO. We lose someone we love only when we are destined to find someone else who can love us even more than we can love ourselves. On falling out of love, take some time to heal and then get back on the horse. But don't ever make the same mistake of riding the same one that threw you the first time. To love is to risk rejections; to hope is to risk failure; to reach for another is to risk involvement; to expose your feelings is to expose your true self; to love is to risk not to be loved in return. But isn't

Falling in Love

...Instructor: Title: Date due: Falling in Love It is intriguing how two strangers can get to know each other and seem like they were never apart. It is the basis of what marriage often refers to becoming one in body and soul. The reason behind all this is falling in love. Falling in love is used in the context of romantic relationships. It is a Western ideology that describes shifting away from a feeling of being neutral as a person to close intimate and emotional attachment to another person, usually of the opposite sex. The term is used to explain a process of interaction and understanding the inner most aspects of a person. It later grows into acceptance of the person’s positive and negative attributes. The feeling of ‘love’ eventually grows strong. When the term ‘fall’ is used, it means that falling in love is an irreversible, uncontrollable and risky affair. It makes the so called victim be in a situation where they are vulnerable. It is a strong longing and desire to be with the other person, without a credible explanation as to why they would want to do that. It makes it seem as if the person is falling in a trap. There are certain factors that enhance the process of falling in love. They include proximity to each other, having similar tastes and preferences, reciprocity where the love given is received in equal measure and being physically attractive. Medically, there is narcissistic identification that occurs when people fall in love. For instance, there are physiological...

Falling in Love

...Falling in Love It's like the feeling you get when you stand in an azure world then you fall off the cliff with your eyes closed, the wind on your face and the euphoria of flying filled up your senses. It will be the most understatement of the year when I say that it is just a simple feeling created by the mind, believed by the heart and followed by the soul for in reality, it is exhilarating to say the least, the most powerful drug ever devised by nature for humankind. Nothing could ever compare to it, the sense of utter bliss that wraps one in an embrace so tight and so fast you feel like you can almost do anything. It comes without warning, it hits in an unexpected way and always catches one unaware in an unguarded moments that often times it wreaks the worst havoc before one can come to terms with it. And there is no telling when it would strike. An ordinary day in any time of the world, a smile, a whiff of perfume wafting in the air, an accidental momentary meeting of the eyes, a simple conversation and then it grabs you. And it fills you, gives your feet wings your mind is tricked into the impression that you can actually fly. It fools the senses. The eyes become clear and dewy at the same time, giving it a strange sparkle that eludes explanation from even the well- versed human biology. The cheeks become flushed with color and warmth which not even the coldest winds of December could ever dampen. The body has gone haywire because of the butterflies...

Falling in Love

...I fell in love. And I shouldn’t have. I knew the moment that I started feeling this way that I should stop it. Distance myself from him immediately. But I couldn’t. Because you see, love really is like a drug, as cliché as that sounds. You start off saying that its casual, it won’t be all the time. But then it consumes you and eventually you look back and wonder how you were pulled so deep into its almighty, life-ruining clutches. Even if you’re like me and you’ve been there before, you can’t pull away. No matter how hard you try. I noticed him first, when I was at work. He was such a dude. He always came in from the gym, hot and sweaty and beautiful, with a bag of food in his hands. He would slap his guy friends on the back and they’d make plans for later. Usually, he’d say hi, maybe stop for a minute to chat and then he was on his way. But sometimes, he would sit and eat while I worked. He’d talk about everything and nothing, all at the same time. But he made me smile. God, he made me smile. I didn’t realize that I loved him then. Then he started dating my friend. She would sit at my shift and tell me how wonderful he was. She’d say how he was so thoughtful, what he had texted her that day, and how good of a kisser he was. I’d smile and shake my head at her romantic antics. I’d tell myself I was happy for her, and I was. Nothing else seemed to change. Day by day, it was always, “hey, how are you? I’m good. How’re classes going?” But sometimes it was more. Sometimes, he...

Have You Ever Experienced Falling in Love?

...Have you ever experienced falling in love? How do you know if you're in love? Does age really matter when you fall in love? What does love feel like? These are some of the questions asked by teenagers like me. I, as a teenager, admit that I have loved someone, and have been loved back. At first, I didn't know that, but I woke up one morning and realized that I was in love with him. I taught myself that time that I was too young for love since I was just 15 years old back then, but in reality, age does not really matter at all. Love is the greatest feeling in the whole world. Moreover, as a teenager we can't help but get curious in things like love. So I decided to read an article about teenage love. And while I was browsing the internet, I've come across an article entitled "What Teenage Love is" by Francis Githinji an Online Dating Expert. Furthermore, in everyone’s teenage years, we will encounter different people, get interested with someone, we want to be loved and fall in love. There will also come a time in our adolescent years where we will get an urge to fall in love with someone so that we will not be left behind with what is trending, because this is part of our physical growth as a teen. Francis Githinji states that "Teenage is a confusing place to be because you are not old enough to be called mature and you are not too young to be called a child.” Francis is right, we are in a place of confusion because sometimes...

Analysis Mrs. Bixby

...“Mrs Bixby and the Colonel’s Coat” I am going to analyse the story entitled “Mrs. Bixby and the Colonel’s coat”. It was written by the British writer whose name is Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl born in Wales, to Norwegian parents, he served in the Royal Air Force[->0] during World War II[->1], in which he became a flying ace[->2] and intelligence officer, rising to the rank of wing commander[->3]. Dahl rose to prominence in the 1940s, with works for both children and adults, and became one of the world's best-selling authors. He has been referred to as "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century". In 2008 The Times[->4] placed Dahl 16th on its list of "The 50 greatest British writers[->5] since 1945". His short stories are known for their unexpected endings, and his children's books for their unsentimental, often very dark humour[->6]. The title of the story is rather clear, we could understand that it will be story about Mrs. Bixby and the colonel’s coat. But we don’t know exactly how they are related. And we can’t predict what will happen. In general, the work is written in the neutral style with an accent on descriptions. The functional style of the story can be description as matter-of-fact. The genre, the author wrote in, is an ironical short story. The story combines the elements of both: narration and dialogue. The author makes ample use of dialogue in this story. The author doesn’t participate in this story, but he knows all the events. ...

...Death should be easy and peaceful, because life is stormy and hard. I’ve never given much thought to how I would die. But dyeing for someone I love seems like a pretty good way to go. “The beauty is too weak of a word to describe how adorable you look” I penetrated her eyes with mine. “You didn’t just sweep me off my feet; you drowned me in the sea of your charm. And now I’m hopelessly in love with you.” She blushed as I sprinkled sweet words in her ears, hoping that the two legged ants wouldn’t steal her away. “Kevin” she said in a low and sweet tone, “mi truly love yuh, but Gregory won’t let us be. With yu, nuh measure of time can be long enough. But mi fear di worst. Let’s leave tung and go to anadda parish where nuh body can find us.” I knew Gregory still loved her though it’s not mutual. And I knew he was homicidal. But without a taught I looked in her dark browns eyes and said “We are leaving Wednesday”. “Yes, Wednesday” she said. Then her phone rang. It was Gregory and she decided to turn the phone off and end the interruption. By now, the sun has set and ready to leave our island. I decided to walk Verona to the playground which was close to her home. As we arrived she stopped and said “let’s just kiss and say good bye”. And that we did. As I turned and walk away, I must have looked back a thousand times until I no longer saw my heartbeat. Monday morning I woke up bright and early. Twelfth Night Act 2 Scene 3

...celebration however sir Andrew may be signaling the turning pointy and the end of carnival is near as he says “to be up late is to be up late” showing his rejection of the timelessly fun green world acknowlging natures bringing to an end the timeless fun. * Sir Andrew pipes up that all he and Toby ever really do is eat and drink, so Toby calls for another round of booze. Then Feste turns up and they greet each other by saying things like "Youths stuff will not endure”, feste always has a somber tone to his songs and this one has a element of foreshadowing of the future in the new world and the marriage were growing up has to occur and “youth” in the green world comes to an end. * Toby and Aguecheek give Feste a few more coins and demand a love song, which Feste obliges. The trio continue to fool around, singing and talking, much of it nonsense when Maria enters and tells them to pipe down before Olivia kicks them out. * Maria's chiding doesn't do any good, so Malvolio runs in to lecture them. Don't they have any sense of propriety? Are they crazy? Acting like a bunch of drunken commoners in a rowdy bar.
