Ferox is an island country located off the coast of California with a considerable population of one billion. The island can only accommodate a single city, nicknamed “The Island City”. Climate is sunny and warm all year round with few storms or other natural disasters. Ten sectors comprise the city, each playing a vital role in the prosperity of Ferox. Ferox’s sectors are partitioned into two parts—Inland containing the housing, medical, and educational sectors— and Outland containing the military, business and production, laboratories, and recreation districts. Districts are arranged for maximum comfort and efficiency. Housing is located in the island’s heart and segregated by social class into two parts—Upper Housing and Lower Housing.
