Flannery O’Conner was born March 25, 1925 in Savannah Ga. O’Conner was known for her short stories. She also lost her farther at a young age. After graduating Flannery O’Conner pursed her writing career.
Peabody High School which O’Conner attended where she worked as the newspaper editor. In 1942 she graduated then moved on and entered Georgia State university for women.(GSUW) During her time at (GSUW) a significant amount of cartoon work which had been done for the school newspaper. After three year in advanced programs a degree for social sciences was received by O’Connor.
