Food Product Description

Breast cancer is a leading disease in women now. It is a very serious issue that kills roughly 40,000 women a year in the United States. We are going to make a unique food that is aimed at attacking and helping many women with breast cancer. Some of the foods that fight the disease are; eggs, pomegranate, lentils, blueberries, walnuts, tuna, broccoli sprouts, mushrooms and ginger. Our product includes many of this foods and it will greatly help women with breast cancer.

We are making a food product (Potato Tuna Pancake) that helps fight breast cancer in women. This product contains most of the nutrients that have been recommended by doctors to help women with breast cancer. Also, the food product has most of the nutrients needed by the body so not only will it fight the cancer but it will also make them stronger and not make them nutrition deficient.

We believe many women with breast cancer will benefit from this product and also those that don’t have as some of the money made will go to an organization that helps breast cancer. Women with breast cancer are naturally weak and if going to chemo will vomit a lot. Our product will ease all these and will be easy to make as we are planning on making it microwavable.

Dr. Fuhrman. “Foods that Fight Breast Cancer” (2011)
Dr. Fuhrman, an American board-certified family physician that specializes in nutrition-based treatments for obesity and chronic disease explains the different kinds of food that reduce the risk of breast cancer and improve survival in women with breast cancer. He focuses on natural plant foods that include cruciferous vegetables, mushrooms and certain seeds. He states that women that eat one serving per day of cruciferous vegetables reduced their risk of breast cancer by over 50%. He also states food like lignans in flax, chia and sesame seeds, onions, beans and berries and other whole plant foods that fight many types of cancer including breast cancer. Fuhrman uses logical arguments to support already proven facts. He does not refer to previous works on his topic. Fuhrman’s style and vocabulary is a little ambiguous and might confuse some people.

Elizabeth, Lee. “Seven (Easy to Find) Foods That May Help Prevent Cancer” (September, 2009)
Elizabeth Lee is a health writer who writes for WebMD and other publications. She argues on the issue of fast foods and healthy foods that can help breast cancer. She states that although scientists keep insisting on what not to eat, people ignore the foods that will help fight diseases like breast cancer. She gives examples of food like Antioxidants, Phytochemicals, Garlic, Tomatoes Broccoli, Strawberries, Carrots, Spinach and Whole Grains. She points out that although many people might not like most of these foods, they should realize that it helps greatly. Lee uses logical arguments to support her ideas, which are facts. Lee’s style and vocabulary would make the article of the interest to any ready.

The name of our product is Cancer way Potato Tuna Pancake

Ingredients for the Potato Tuna Pancake

5 pounds potatoes, peeled 1 onion 3 eggs, beaten 2 1/2 cups dry pancake mix 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a food processor grate potatoes and onion. In a large bowl combine potatoes, onions, eggs, pancake mix, salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Spoon potatoes into skillet and cook as you would pancakes, for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

Tuna Salad
2-3 cans of high-quality tuna, or 1 lb. of your homemade tuna fish
4 T. diced celery
6-7 T. high quality mayonnaise
2-3 T. Dijon or other good mustard
Flake the tuna into chunks. If you bought it oil-packed, as I recommend, let it be coated in oil. Don't wash the tuna.

Mix the tuna with all the other ingredients in a bowl. Test for salt and add it to taste
When we’re done making the tuna salad, we’ll add it to the potato pancake mixture and fry it together.

...which is public. Criminal law is the rule for every people who are states and citizens. The government enforces criminal law. ‘Criminal law is concerned with product of which the state disapproves so strongly that it will punish the wrongdoer’ (1, Marsh and Soulsby, 2002). This system was made for criminal or those who are suspected of committing offences. Besides that, the role of criminal law is very important. It has two main important functions. The first function is about protecting citizen. Criminal law is to maintain the social order by protecting individuals from criminal harm. For example: criminal law is protecting people to avoid murder, theft, or arson. The second function protects people from harms in society such as: unsafe foods, pollution, unsafe buildings and sites (Dobson, 1997). Moreover, it maintains and teaches social values as well as social boundaries, for example: speed limits, traffic lights, seat belts, stop signs, and turning signal. Thus, criminal law makes sure that anyone who commits a crime is punished, separated from society, and taught not to commit crimes anymore. Secondly, Civil law is a division of the English legal system of, it is known as a form of private law and involves the relationships between individual citizens. Civil law has a complementary function. If a dispute arises between two individuals, each believing himself to be in the right, a quarrel may ensue and violence or other criminal conduct may result. Write YOUR PROPOSAL for the Sales Manager, ■ suggesting a reason for the lack of repeat orders ■ putting forward one or two ways to retain customers ■ outlining how your ideas could be implemented ■ mentioning one or two possible disadvantages of your ideas Write 250 words. ►TASK ACHIEVEMENT TO: Customer Services Manager FROM: Gerry Lewis Date: January 4, 2010 Subject: Customer Loyalty BACKGROUND INFORMATION This proposal is being submitted in order to identify problems that have led to a decrease in the number of repeat orders on the part of our customers and also to suggest possible strategies for enhancing customer retention which is crucial for the wellbeing of the company. It also puts forward practical ideas as to how to implement the suggestions made and one possible drawback deriving from them. REASON FOR LACK OF REPEAT ORDERS The proportion of customers placing repeat orders has halved in the last two years, to 12 per cent. One possible cause is the reduction in our sales personnel through natural wastage. PROPOSALS TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS I suggest two ways of improving the customer retention rate. One suggestion is connected to recruiting three sales people to return to the full complement that we had until two years ago. This......

...PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMME (SOLOMON PROJECT) PROPOSAL DONE BY: MIRECO COMMUNITY BASED DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION ABSTRACT Ever went to school or work with an empty stomach? Then surely you can remember the difficulties you can have in trying to concentrate on the tasks given to you. Your attention gets drawn to that empty feeling inside your body, the cry for food. The above mentioned scenario is just a nightmare for others. But to others it is not an incidental thing but occurring day after day. Who can stand there and see it happen and still do nothing.., just standing there and let those things happen without feeling pity for those people? This is what happens in some schoolsin Kenya. Quite a number of the children come to school with little or no food for breakfast, just chewing some bush fruits, if they found any on the way to school. Getting in class with an empty stomach surely is not the right start for a day at school; concentration is lacking, attention is drawn to that gnawing feeling inside. These children don’t have the energy for sports; fall sick more often as their resistance is undermined by under-nourishment and drop out more easily from school. What would you do if you saw it happening? Would you just be the bystander or the one that would take action? Surely it is impossible to help the whole world but this doesn’t mean that we don’t have the obligation to help, even with just the little bits we can share. That is why our......

...In this day and age, people of all races and sex’s, are becoming increasingly overweight. This main problem stems a number of medical and economical concerns as the “obese” continue to suffer greater probability of heart disease, high blood pressure, and reduced work productivity. It is obvious that this matter cannot continue lest the world be strained by easily averted medical disasters. I wholeheartedly believe that society would be better off without them and even better then that if they are put to use. Therefore I propose that anyone that is currently in the obese category, along with those that enter after my proposal take effect, shall be rounded up and put into work camps. When the obese first enter the camps, their weight shall be taken and recorded into official records for future use. After the check in process is complete, the workers will be delegated to a variety of manual labor jobs that would seem “unpleasant” to the average weight individual. The work itself will be beneficial to society. For example, employers will not have to pay reluctant workers by the hour to slack off most of the day but instead be able to train them for more skilled positions of the workforce. These now skilled average weight workers will prove more effective in society and thus contribute to a growing economy. Also, the manual labor will contribute to the better health of those obese. By getting into better shape, these individuals will reduce their risk of various medical......

The Proposal

...THE PROPOSAL A Modest Proposal I had to read the proposal a couple of times to understand what the intention of it was. English being my second language makes it hard for me to easily understand the writing from the past. For what I understood the ending was a lot different than what I expected. I was expecting for Jonathan Swift to end the proposal by stating everyone would become a slave. Also, by following the proposal “A Modest Proposal” you would thing everyone is going to be either killed, sent to jail, or become a slave. According to the reading, everything is going real bad in the community. I think the turning point for me was when Jonathan Swift wrote, “that they will first ask the parents of these mortals” (as cited in Sayre, 2012, p. 775). This section made me realize Swift was in favor of fixing the poverty of the Irish families. I started to understand the why he wrote the proposal. The whole meaning behind proposal was to seek for other help in fixing the poverty in the town. Jonathan Swift was a good writer in his time. He was respected by the people that surrounded him. Swift did a very good job in his writing where he was able to grab me in the start and had me thinking one thing. Once I finish the reading the proposal a couple of times it was very impressing on how he had me changes my focus. Once I understood what he was doing with his writing it was amazing. It is very interesting on how writers make you think one thing in the start and......

Food labels are a panel found on a package of food, which contains a variety of information about the nutritional value of the food item. There are many pieces of information which are standard on most food labels, including serving size, number of calories, grams of fat, included nutrients, and a list of ingredients. This information helps people who are trying to restrict their intake of fat, sodium, sugar, or other ingredients, or those individuals who are trying to get enough of the healthy nutrients such as calcium or Vitamin C. The label provides each item with its approximate percent daily value, generally based on a 2,000-calorie diet. ...central tenet of Emory’s intellectual life. It allows us to test hypotheses, provides the basis for data analyses, centers humanistic inquiry, and is the substance of the creative process. In October 2011, a committee under the leadership of Mellisa Anders (Professor of Art History) and Melanie Donson (Professor of Physics) put out a call for proposals. An enthusiastic response from the wider Emory community, including faculty, students, staff, and alumni resulted in the selection of four final themes. In February 2012, the four proposals were posted on the Propsal website. In late February and early March the authors of these proposals made public presentations at town hall meetings, providing additional information and seeking comments and reactions from the Enchatia community. Feedback was also received through electronic outreach to relevant constituents. Revised proposals were reviewed in April 2012 by the QEP Selection Committee, resulting in the recommendation of Primary Evidence as Emory’s QEP. The SAD leadership team, under the guidance of President Andrews, accepted this recommendation. The quality of the proposals was outstanding and much energy and imagination was invested in their development. A closer review shows many overlapping themes and objectives for the ongoing enhancement of education at Ehtiala, suggesting that the community at large subscribes to common goals. In the Fall 2012, the SAD leadership team will appoint a faculty......
