Dear Ms. Anne Brown, INTRODUCTION: E227 Global Solutions has long talked about going green, but up until now, we have not made any major efforts toward reducing the company’s carbon footprint globally. We have recently made successful localized initiatives to help reduce energy consumption, reduce or eliminate chemical byproducts, and minimize our office waste. However, even with these recent changes, there is so much more that we can do! BACKGROUND: The world’s population is rapidly growing, and unless we make the decision to take better care of Mother Nature, we are going to slowly self-destruct over time. REASON FOR THIS PROPOSAL: With your help, E227 Global Solutions can make a big difference in by reducing the amount that we waste and consume by 25% in the next year. Recognizing that great ideas come from all levels of the company, E227GS is challenging you, its employees, to generate ideas for going green and achieving, and possibly exceeding, the goal of reducing our carbon footprint.

COST: We realize that you, as well as the rest of the Upper Management Team are concerned about what the cost is of going green. Ultimately, it is a practice that will eventually pay for itself. CONCLUSION:

Sincerely,

Concerned Employees of E227GS

Formal Communication

...Formal Communication If I was preparing a formal report for my accounting peers, my manager, and the owner of a business, I would essentially feel the need to write three different reports. Each individual or group of people will have different informational needs and different knowledge levels of the subject matter. This forces me to place how formal the report would be into three different levels which include low, medium, and high. Knowing how to read your audience and choose the right formality of the report is critical to improving communication. Ron Horton states “formalized communications can significantly enhance and improve safety, execution, and productivity” (Horton, 2012) . The report for my accounting peers would be on the low end of being formal. It is still formal, as most reports should be, but a little less intense as the other two reports. The report for my manager would fall in the medium category of being formal. You would not want this report to be as laid back as the one to the peers but not too formal because it is your boss and they usually have knowledge of the subject matter. Because your boss has the power to some decision making you want to increase the formality slightly from the report to your peers. Lastly, you have the report for the owner of a business who is your client. This report would fall under the level of high in formality. This person may have no knowledge of the message you are trying to convey which would make this......

Formal Research and Business Proposals

...Proposals and Research Nashira Wiggins American Intercontinental University Abstract What are the differences between formal research and a business proposal? What are the similarities? This paper will compare and contrast the theoretical and practical differences between formal research and a business proposal. The second part of this paper will explore the effects of human resources outsourcing on leadership performance and employee commitment. This paper will show that human resources outsourcing has a negative effect on employees and their morale. Part 1 Formal research provides basic information and statistics in a given field or industry depending on the focus of the research. Formal research may be used to research the demand for a specific product or service by researching similar products or services that are already on the market. Included in this research would be the general sales rate, the companies that market these products or services, and the current sale price. Research will reveal whether the market for the product is flooded or if it is indeed a good business opportunity. A business proposal is a document that proposes a method for completing a task. A business proposal can be used for launching a new product or for something like implementing a new strategy for a marketing campaign. “A proposal includes a brief description for the task at hand, a section describing the general approach to the task, a schedule for the task in question and a......

Thereafter the conclusion will be drawn but it is of vital importance to identify the key concepts in the questions. According to UNESCO (1991) education is ‘an organized and sustained communication process designed to bring about learning. Mernier (2007) quotes that non-formal learning, happens in any organized outside the formal system (e.g. Youth organization) how to organize an event? Coombs(1973) states that Formal education is the hierarchically structured, chronologically graded educational system running from primary school through the university in addition to general academic studies, a variety of specialized programs and institution for full time and professional training. Non-formal and formal education have differences because when you talk in terms of purpose formal education is long term and general in the sense that it takes a long period of time to finish because you have to start from grade one to twelve and further to the higher institution of learning and it is general because you have to learn a lot of things at once for insistence you want to become a lawyer instead of learning subjects that will support you in doing law like history, you will do sciences which you will not use at the completion of secondary level while in non-formal education ......

...INCORPORATING WIRELESS INVENTORY SCANNERS THROUGHOUT WAREHOUSE Prepared for Professor April 5, 2014 Letter of Transmittal Board Members 1234 Martin Luther King Dr. Killeen, TX 76543 USA Dear Members of the Board and Fellow Employees: Here is my report, highlighting the recommendations that should implement a wireless inventory scanning process throughout our warehouse. This report provides detailed information regarding the significant impact that this wireless network will have on control cost and inventory productivity. My research indicates that implementing a wireless inventory scanning network will drastically improve on control cost and inventory productivity across the board for all involved. It will benefit our inventory clerks by making their working hours more productive and decrease the amount of time needed to manually count the inventory. This will allow for a seamless flow of data from our warehouse location to our store shelves to allow for a more productive selling advantage. Also, it will drop maintenance cost to a minimum by incorporating our own in house IT personnel to maintain the network without having to outsource any maintenance personnel. For these benefits, I encourage you to approve of this upgrade in our inventory process. It will benefit our organization in many ways and improve employee morale. If you have any questions or suggestions, I would be glad to answer them for......

Formal Analysis

...Magno, Pacifico Andreo S. TFA 150, Ma’am Lisa 2008-82788 FORMAL ANALYSIS The artwork was made by combining various types of lines mainly: expressive, implied, hatching and crosshatching. This was done probably with pencil on paper with a conveyed roughness on the strokes with a rather pleasing softness to it. Expressive lines were used to create the outline of the artwork and to illustrate the overall shape. Implied lines were made to create the twirls on the piece mainly found on the head of the subject. Hatching and crosshatching was then used to create a sense of depth, focus and contrast on the subject. The lines that were illustrated are very biomorphic and seemingly art nouveau in nature, a very popular art style during 1890–1910. The piece itself is flowing and sinuous. This is somehow a representation of hidden desire, a suppressed craving that probably wants to come out. The artwork is colorless and is completely dependent on shades of black and white, the face is somewhat dulled yet expressing a smile on the lips which looks like its daydreaming and yet, the whole image is somehow juxtaposed because of its lack of color and relaxed facial expression sided along powerful and curved lines full of energy. The lines itself seems erratic at first glance – but rather, it follows a direction. The expression of the whole piece resembles a description of William Hogarth’s book entitled: The Analysis of Beauty. Within that book he coined a theory......
