Introduction
This demonstration is to inform the nutrition staff, and patients in Hillary Hoffman’s Nursing Home Care how to prepare a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a very simple snack; this is known to be one of the United States most eaten past time meal. This demonstration will allow each individual to share their experience, and learn from others the steps they take in making their own peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich everyone does make this sandwich with their own personal touch, and ingredient of their choice and that is what makes it a fun sandwich.
By performing this demonstration it will allow everyone to participate in assisting in a simple meal preparation that is quick and easy for one and all. This will allow the staff to interact with the patients, and also having the patients feel like they can still do something for themselves.

Instruction
Step 1
On one side of the table place your plate, knife, spoon, and some napkins
Open both your peanut butter, and jelly jar, place them beside your utensils. Put the two slices of bread on the plate. stand close to the table, pull up your plate close to you, take the knife in one hand, and the peanut butter jar in the other hand, put the knife in the peanut butter jar, and take up a good size of peanut butter, or enough peanut butter that you know will cover a slice of bread. Put the peanut butter jar down, and take up one slice of bread from the plate, gently spread the peanut butter over the bread covering the up side only. Place the covered slice of bread on the plate; make sure the side that has the peanut butter is face up.
Step 2
Take up the other slice of bread, put the knife in the peanut butter jar and take a very small amount of peanut butter, gently spread a little less peanut butter over the bread and make sure it is covered evenly, then put the knife down. Take up the spoon, then scoop up some jelly, and spread evenly over the slice of bread that is lightly covered with the peanut butter. Then place that second slice of peanut butter and jelly on the other slice of bread lying on the plate. Make sure that both sides of the jelly and the peanut butter are facing each other.
Make sure you apply the jelly to the slice of bread according to how you like it, whether it is a lot or a little.
Step 3
Take the napkins and clean the knife, then cut the crust of the bread, and present it on the plate. Cover the jars and clean up your work area.

Ingredient The ingredients are very simple, and can be found in any grocery store (for anyone with health issues make sure to purchase the right ingredients for your sandwich) 1. Jar of peanut butter (individuals with diabetes or any other health problems make sure to use Light Peanut Butter) 2. Jar of Jelly 3. Slices of bread (for anyone with health issues make sure to choose the bread that is right for you)

Process Report
What Makes The Process Works
What makes this process successful are the small steps given to individual in preparing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The process is simple, and the instructions provided were a very clear guide. From steps one to three, each step was listed in the correct order, because of the steps given, when preparing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich it will be easy to follow regardless of who is preparing the sandwich. The entire information was right on point; the language used in the demonstration was easy to understand this will allow anyone to partake in the process. What makes it interesting is the way in which individual was told how to apply the peanut butter and jelly to the bread, and they were also guided in choosing the portion desired. Some of the things that cause this process to be successful are the simple ingredient, they can be found anywhere, and in every store. Even though these ingredients can be found almost anywhere, the information was given to the audience to make sure that they select the right product for their health. It is important because each individual was advised that not all ingredients will work for everyone.

The Negative Response
After evaluating the demonstration there could be a few things that will allow the demonstration process to be unsuccessful. One that can be clearly identified is the emphasis that is placed on preparing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. This is known to be one of the easiest sandwiches to make and people has been doing this in a very fast, or slow pace with their own style for many years, therefore the detailed instruction may not be embraced. The instruction may not work, especially when people are on the go, or just making a quick sandwich at work.
Some individual have no interest in the quality of the sandwich, so if our goal is to make the best quality sandwich it would bring a negative response.
What can be changed in the instructions, is giving everyone the opportunity to prepare the sandwich in whichever way desired.

Conclusion In this demonstration I have learned that each individual does have their own way of making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, however the end result for one all is always the same, two slices of bread with peanut butter, and jelly in the middle. What makes the preparation of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich interesting is the different style each individual brings to the table.

Having the knowledge about these resources is the determining factor of whether it’s going to make you or break you. You have to have set goals in mind.
