It is really important for Foyle Food Group to motivate their employees so the workforce strives to do their best by carrying out an effective, efficient job. It is vital that Foyle Food Group manage their employees in the best possible way because of the nature of the job. If employees have a negative impression in the room then other employees may be effected by this so it is important to keep the staff motivated in Food Foyle Group. “Our staff is a vital component of making us who we are. A good example of this is Kevin Tyre who worked on the shop floor and now is health and safety manager. Staff also has the chance to do additional studying and training while working for them and they have got their course paid for them. It is very important that Foyle Food Group don’t give their employees too much bonuses because if they do it wouldn’t be a motivator no more. The employees are the front line people within business and basically run it, day in, day out. It is the manager’s responsibility that they carry out their jobs successfully and motivating the employee to do so, should be a priority to the business. Especially since they are an enterprising business, they will want to sustain their success so it is worth their while to motivate the employees properly. It is clear to us that Foyle Food Group are successfully motivating their staff as the outcomes of their business is great and it shows us that they are enterprising. Foyle Food Group recognise that driving their future growth and development will continue to depend on their ability to attract, grow, train and retain the very best managers and staff and to build progressively stronger teams at each location. They believe that a key to their future success lies in the promotion of properly trained, knowledgeable and capable management from within the organisation together with the on-going motivation of the teams in each country.
