A strong economy is one in which the region or country and its people are becoming more profitable. This means they are producing and earning more money than they spend. In a strong economy, companies are being formed and expanding, so the number of jobs is growing. The goods and services the region or country produces are growing in value, so the amount that people earn increases. In a strong economy, consumers have more money to spend than they would in a weak economy. This means they are more likely to purchase goods and services. In a weak economy, consumers often spend less money. Companies in a weak economy may compete to offer goods and services at the lowest prices possible. Next, you'll learn about some ways to tell if an economy is strong or weak.

The GDP is one of the most common ways to measure a country's economy. A country's GDP, or gross domestic product, is the value of the goods and services produced in that country. When the GDP increases, the economy is growing and becoming stronger. When it decreases, the economy is shrinking and becoming weaker.

Kaleidoscope of Feelings

...(((INTRODUCTION))) - A Kaleidoscope of Behaviours and Feelings Looking Beyond Shades and Hues An individual’s cognitive and behavioural response to colour is immediate and is sometimes deemed to have power over our feelings and perspectives. It influences our emotions, mood, actions, and how we even retort to various people, things and ideas. There have been a number of studies and pieces of writings discussing an in-depth look on the meaning of colours and how they matter to people’s lives. In technical terms and definition, colour is characterised as a property possessed by any material that produces different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it produces reflections or light. Colours are also considered a form of non-verbal communications. From prehistoric to contemporary art, whatever message that an artist wants to convey is coursed through a plethora of colours in an art piece being at a loss for words. They feel that without a discriminate selection of colours it would be impossible for them to get their message across to people. It is an expression for them, an articulation of sometimes unfathomable feelings – whether they are joy, love, peace, patience, passion, goodness, sometimes faith, anger, and even pain. Colours are interpretation that passes understanding. Their impact on emotions is generally the same to each and every individual in the world. However, they may differ in distinct meanings and interpretations according to a set of culture...

Good Things Fall Apart, So Better Things Can Come Together When I regularly came home from school and hanging out with friends around 7 in the evening, my mother surprised me with some news. She grinded and said that she had something to tell me. When I saw a smile on her face, I was excited to hear it. “You are going to America.” she said. I stopped smiling and turned my face into a frown. I didn’t want to go. I didn’t want to leave my house, school, families, and best friends that I have for my entire life. “But mom, everything is expensive over there. ” I tried to give her as many excuses as I could think. You have your brother and your dad there. What are you afraid of? Your dad has been there for many years. All he wants is to see his kids succeed with good education. Look at your brother; he is fine over there. So you will be ok.” she said. I was sitting on a mountain of wet tissues. I would miss my friends a lot. Derpy's Dismal Day

...the address on one upturned hoof, and said in the most charming voice she could manage, "Open up mister mailbox, it's time for your breakfast," before trying to gently open it one more time, and -- predictably -- failing. "GAH!" She was beginning to wonder it anyone would notice if she just didn't deliver any mail to Carousel Boutique today when the proprietress, Rarity, sauntered up beside her. At least she could just hand it off directly to her, now. "Lovely, isn't it?" Ditzy Doo turned and noticed the bolts of cloth Rarity had tucked neatly into her saddlebags, a delightful floral print on silk. "Oh, yes, quite." Ditzy never pretended to "get" fashion, it was full of endless complexities that sailed clear over her head like Rainbow Dash on a double espresso, but everyone could agree that flowers were pretty, right? She could handle that. Just don't let her back you into having to actually say something meaningful, and you'll be fine, she told herself. "It matches the trim around the windows much better, I think," Rarity continued. ... What? "I'd wanted to go with...

The Crown of Ptolemy (Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover #3) by Rick Riordan.Pdf

...RICK RIORDAN THE CROWN of PTOLEMY A Percy Jackson/Kane Chronicles Adventure PUFFIN Contents The Crown of Ptolemy ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rick Riordan is the creator of the award-winning, bestselling Percy Jackson series and the thrilling Kane Chronicles and Heroes of Olympus series. Don’t miss his new series: Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. According to Rick, the idea for the Percy Jackson stories was inspired by his son Haley. But rumour has it that Camp Half-Blood actually exists, and Rick spends his summers there recording the adventures of young demigods. Some believe that, to avoid a mass panic among the mortal population, he was forced to swear on the River Styx to present Percy Jackson’s story as fiction. Rick lives in Boston, Massachussetts, (apart from his summers on Half-Blood Hill) with his wife and two sons. Heavy Metal as a Social Movement

...again. Instead he found a work around that would prove to be most beneficial for the metal movement that was to take place thereafter. After attempting to play right handed, He tuned his guitar down with lighter strings and used homemade plastic fingertips and created a new sound. After playing with several bands in the early 1960’s, he teamed with Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward under the moniker Earth. After some controversy with another band who shared the name Earth, in August of 1969 they changed the name of the band to Black Sabbath. This breathed new air into the band and they would go on to be pioneers in The Heavy Metal genre for decades to come. Black Sabbath paved the way for other bands like Motorhead, Deep Purple, and Rainbow. It was these bands that would be influential and play a pivotal role in the lives of the next wave of heavy metal bands that was to come. It started out slowly in 1969 and took a bit of a nosedive in the 1970’s with the disco era, but the 1980’s and the 1990’s would be two decades of aggression that would shape the minds of millions of Die Hard metal fans, including yours truly! This is not to say that the movement is not still very strong today, as happens it is growing stronger as I type this, but the 1980’s and the 1990’s were crucial times for the bands and the fans that shaped the heavy metal movement. There are several genres and sub genres of heavy metal music that range from melodic and...
