Nowadays, trending a brand new vibrant pair of gym shoes seems to be enough to encourage one to workout. Getting motivated to exercise can be difficult, especially for those who never exercised consistently. In today's society, chronic diseases and orthopedic conditions are affecting quality of life by hindering one's functionality to exercise. While observing an acute care rehabilitation center, I encountered patients whose diseases effected their strength, flexibility, and endurance, which further hindered and demotivated patients to climb stairs, walk, run, or lift items. Many patients lack the physical and mental motivation to exercise simply because it may hurt beyond the usual fatigue. Columbia University's 32 week clinical rotation criteria highlights an opportunity for …show more content…
For instance, many obese patients upper body weight can put pressure on the knee and ankle joints causing depreciation that result in arthritis, which is enough inflammation and pain to discourage a patient from being active. As a solution, I read how physical therapists are making exercising pain free and lively for such patients by encouraging swimming, water aerobics, aquajogging, or in pool walking. For this reason, I want to be a physical therapist that can think of creative rehabilitation techniques to give patients options on how to exercise, without the fear of pain. Likewise, a lot of aged diabetic patients have limited mobility and are succumbed to a wheelchair. As a result, many therapists incorporate sitting exercises with weights or resistance bands to help build muscle and bone mass as a part of strength training. As a student, I want to be able to incorporate everyday exercise materials as a part of rehabilitation in order to suggest ways to strengthen patients' limbs despite a limitation to a mobility

INTRODUCTION TUI Group GmbH (Touristik Union International) is a German multinational travel and tourism company established in 1968 and headquartered in Hanover. First, it was an association with some medium-sized companies like Touropa, Scharnow-Reisen, Hummel Reise and Dr.Tigges-Fahrten. Personal Statement

...Subject: Successful Princeton Applicant Through all of my accomplishments and disappointments, I have always been especially proud of the dedication and fervor I possess for my personal beliefs and values. Unfortunately, it has often been difficult for me to remain outwardly firm and confident in a town where most people think alike and reject exceptions. Whenever I have expressed my position as a pro-life advocate, peers have badgered, accused, and ridiculed me for simply believing in something that they scorn. Despite all the pressure, I never waive red from my belief, yet I became frustrated and began to lose the courage to publicly express my opinion on this controversial topic. To gain some insight and reassurance for myself, I attended the New Jersey Right to Life Convention in the spring of 1995. This experience uplifted me and offered great inspiration and enlightenment. At the convention I received an overwhelming amount of support and encouragement from wonderful people who advocate the very principles I believe in. This convention was so inspiring that the next day in school I was able to relate my experience to one of my biggest opponents on the subject. Also, the abundant information available at the convention enabled me to defend my position on abortion more effectively. Attending this convention accomplished two things. It proved my commitment to my belief, in that I took the initiative to strengthen and support my opinion, refusing to give up or lose heart. Unlike...

Selling: convince people that what the organization happen to have is what they need. 3. marketing : let’s ask people what they want and then produce it. What can I make that will serve my customers better? It needs to be something relevant, innovative or unique MKG definition it’s all about sales and market share : it doesn’t say anything about relationship NOW : how can I create value so I will be able to sale more, it’s the only way to survive. To stay alive you need to have a lot of capabilities and tools to survive What is marketing? Marketing includes more than just needs, it’s concerned with providing the right product to the right person at the right moment. That way it creates value. This way it also incorporates innovation. Functions & processes/activities are the things we do to deliver customer value. These can be strategic and tactical. History of marketing thought - philosophy *  Production orientation, huge production lines trying to find bigger markets. Its all about efficient distribution. Demand is huge, supply was very small, they didn’t care about colour for example. Marketing was all about getting your product efficiently to the consumer. Marketing is a very contextual science, how do we deal with circumstances, and how do we become successful in these circumstances. *  Selling orientation, extra activities...
