a. Your specific goal: My short-term educational Goal that I have set is to finish GEN200, Foundations for General Education with a B grade.

1) Today?

Today I will review all the resources available to me, and complete assignments.

2) This week?

I will answer both discussion questions; respond to my classmate’s discussion question responses four out of the seven days and do two substantial responses on each of those days. I will also complete the Educational Goals Mapping assignment and post my individual biography.

I will get a head start on my homework, and schedule a conference with my mentor Tina. Log onto the web site and get familiar with it.

3) This month?

I will answer each week’s discussion questions and post the required responses to receive full participation credit. I will complete all assignments on time and do my share of the work for team assignments.
4) This year? I will complete 8 classes this year with a grade average of a B

I will have to create a daily checklist of things that need to be done for that day and have an allotted time for each item. In order to be successful on a daily basis, I would have practice self-discipline and not deviate from this daily checklist.

c. What kind of techniques will you use to manage the stress that you may encounter in achieving your goals?
