My Growth Trajectory:
My Past:
I would like to start talking about me only after detailing my family background because family is that made me what I am today. I have a beautiful family who always supports me in what I do and have trust in me. My father is an inspiration to me. My mom and sister are my strength. My parents put our needs first than theirs. They did not let any financial or family issues affect our growth. I was put into a boarding school in Ooty a hill station in India known for its educational institutions when I was three years old . It was a hard decision made by my parents to mould me. I was very mischievous though. I had many complaints on me all the time that I fought with someone or broke this, etc. My sister was often called for my mischief’s.
Later when I was back at home the mischief continued. I was found of animals and had lot of pets. At a point of time our house was filled with pets where we had dogs, rabbits, pigeons, love birds, hens, turkeys and a big aquarium. I grew up with to be even more mischievous. I dint want to go to school and always wanted to play with my pets. It became difficult for my parents to look after all these.
After my schooling, I wanted to pursue engineering. The first two years of my engineering I was not responsible. I was only interested in roaming. I used to do work only because I was supposed to but not out of passion.
At that point of time, my dad had a conversation with me. He told me how I was and what he expected out of me. Rather than just lecturing me or blaming me for the way I was, he extended help so I can become a better person.
I started realising that I should be a better person. I started taking responsibilities. Now my career became my passion. There was a drastic change in my behaviour. I cannot say that I became a miracle or changed overnight. Change took place gradually. I started accepting my mistakes and took responsibility for my deeds. I felt great doing it.
By the time I have completed by engineering I was decent enough that people started respecting my decisions. So when I was offered with a job i came out and spoke with my family saying that I did not want to start a career now rather i wanted to pursue my masters in The USA
My family was glad that I was grown up and started taking my own decisions. They were supportive with what I wanted to do. I was very clear of what I wanted and change in my attitude over the couple of years was an added advantage.

My present:
Here I am pursuing my Masters in Computer Science. Coming here is not an easy task. There are lot of things one should understand.
Back in India, I was dependant on my family. I was financially supported by my family. But after coming here I am proud to say that I am independent. I don’t ask for financial help from anyone anymore. I work hard to get my living.
When I say I work hard for my earning I have to explain why it is a great thing to me. At home, I used to never help my mom in the household chores nor my dad in his activities. I got good food in time. Fresh and pressed clothes. It was a different environment that I was grown up. I had to adjust for many things from food to culture. I did not take it as a difficulty. It was more of global exposure and cultural exploration for me.
I started liking my days here. One of the happiest thing for me is I was able to present an iphone to my sister. At least to me it is an achievement. My family is proud of what I am today . I am proud of myself. I have clear view of what i want to in life.
Transformation from a goal less teenager to an ambitious young man was not achieved overnight. Change was inevitable. I accepted the change and started shaping myself for betterment. It was difficult in the beginning but when i realised what was waiting for me I was ready to go through it.
I have a clear vision of my future. I have fixed both short term goals and long term goals. When compared to the previous me and the present me i can assure that there is change for the good. There is change in the way i view things. And out of all there is clarity of things.
One more change is I used to be shy. But now I am no more a shy person because i came out of my shell and started mingling with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

My Present is actually preparing my future:
Yes, my present is what is preparing my future. As i have come abroad to pursue my masters i had got the opportunity to meet and talk with people from different nations and cultures. I had an opportunity to explore what the world is like.
I have certain goals fixed to achieve in my future. Out of that one is to fix my career in proper way. To get settled as an entrepreneur. All these things that i am learning now are helping me to face the real world. With all these qualities i have acquired over the years and the learning that is happening I have become more confident. I am sure i will achieve what i want to.
Now I believe that I am suitable to be an entrepreneur. To build an organisation with the culture i believe in. This way i want be financially strong. The reason for financial stability is I believe that only if you are financially stable a person can concentrate on a good cause.
I want to start a campaign and educate the youth of India about the various options they have. Since i have had a chance to stay and learn the culture of developed country i know what is lacking in a developing country like India.
India has full of resources and ability to grow. But i would address the youth of India not to be dependent on their parents. Parents spoon feed their children even after they reach a certain age which is making kids a bit less confident on themselves.
From a spoiled teenager to ambitious young man I have seen life in different angles and know what exactly life is. I have decided that my life should not end for myself. I should be useful for the society.
