Milestone #5 I believe HAARP is morally justified due to all the research being done on it and the evidence being found about it. There are visual captions, videos and articles on the topic of HAARP. HAARP is used to help with many different things as you will find out when I go into deep analysis about HAARP and how it works. I am going to explain what HAARP actually is, what it’s used for and also the effects HAARP has on human beings and the earth. What exactly is HAARP and what does it mean? HAARP is said to be abbreviated for the words high frequency active auroral research program. It’s an ionospheric program of research jointly funded by the U.S. Air force, the U.S. Navy, …show more content…
This is due to putting energy into the upper ionosphere and magnetosphere, in the ULF range, according to consumerhealth.org. Consumerhealth.org also said a catalyst can be created that causes natural energy to be released as the effect. Scientists found out that the signal being sent up to the upper atmosphere was amplified by a thousand times once it actually arrived (consumerhealth.org). If a few thousand watts were used, you could create problems that you don’t anticipate, in other words consumerhealth.org was saying, you may trigger geophysical events within the earth. The actual problem is that external signals like the radio frequency signals of HAARP can be pulsed in this ULF range will cause the brain to begin to lock onto that external signal and began to mirror it (consumerhealth.org). Once this is done and can change the character and chemistry of the brain during that period of time and your behavior can also change, says consumerhealth.org. Dealing with HAARP can be an extremely damaging experience and can cause many different things to happen. HAARP can cause laughter, crying for no apparent reason, apathy, aggression hypersensitiveness, and fears in people once their bodies have been shown to it (red-ice.net). It can also cause one to become hungry, thirsty, libido and change sexual preferences (red-ice.net). …show more content…
I disagree with using HAARP due to the simple facts of what it can do to the human body or to the earth itself. I understand that it is helping the military when it comes to warfare, but in a way it is also damaging our economy. I believe HAARP is morally justified because of all of the information and research found on it, as stated in the beginning, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I agree with the actions the military is choosing to take while using this instrument. I find it interesting how scientists create technology to help certain things like war, but don’t consider the consequences of their actions towards other things they use it on like the atmosphere, earth or people. HAARP does an abundant amount of things that are helping the U.S., but they keep everything a secret so that they citizens of the U.S. won’t understand what’s taking place in the world. I now understand the advantages, the dangers, and also the meaning for HAARP. I also understand what HAARP actually is, what scientist use it for, and the dangers of using
