Executive Summary

Introduction
Happy Monkey is an established baby product distributor based in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Happy Monkey expects to supply a selected number of large and small baby product retailers with a select few brands that have proven to be successful in the past, namely Fei He milk powder and Be Super baby diapers. The company plans to build a strong market position due to the general manager’s extensive industry experience and opportunity for growth in the area. Happy Monkey will offer its products at competitive prices and aims to satisfy the needs of all health and budget conscious parents of small children up to three years of age.

The Company
Happy Monkey was previously owned and managed by three partners all from Dongguan city itself. After restructuring, Gordon 江东塔 will be the majority shareholder with one third of the company as well as general manager, the other two thirds being owned by investors who will contribute capital proportionate to their share. Gordon 江东塔 has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and management. The company intends to hire three full time sales managers, a professional accountant, driver, store clerk, as well as up to fifty full time sales promotions professionals.

I am happy to be able to share the materials that follow, such as they are, in the hope that they may be of some use and benefit to others. The simple teaching device I used was three-fold: 1. Make a note of an idiom/expression 2. Define and explain it in understandable words (including synonyms.) 3. Give at least three sample sentences to illustrate how the expression is used in context.
