... receipt to hand in with the paper. When I took the receipt, she told me to have a great day and gave me a beautiful smile. All that did was put me down a little more. I kindly, cold heartedly, told her thanks and for her to have a great day as well. Walking to my truck, I was regretting actually doing that because it put me down to fake talk or fib to people doing their jobs. They were the kindest customer service people I had come into contact with in a long time. At first, I was feeling happy because they made me feel happy when I walked through the door. After doing what I did and I left, I had my head down and upset that I lied to those happy people although they tried to make me feel like I was family being there. This experience relates strongly to service marketing because of the seven P’s in the service marketing mix. The product was the card. I had to talk my way into why I was there to buy the product. The price of the product was $2.14. I only had $2.75 so I could not buy an expensive card without using a debit or credit card. Using those cards, might have made for a more difficult return situation or a problem with my banks and the money not being back on the card for a day or so. Promotion did not come into play with me and the business today. As many times as I have went into Walgreens, I knew they sold birthday cards. The process of getting the product and then returning the product was set up very accessible to the customer. It was very......

... Figure 7.2. Key interrelationships that students should glean include the following: •        All of the IM/IT service support processes inform, and are informed by, a configuration management database. This is the single source of knowledge about configuration settings for all classes of the enterprise’s IM/IT assets. Accurate maintenance is a key to efficient and effective IM/IT support services. •        Recurring incidents become inputs for root-cause analysis in the problem management process. If the root causes can be determined and a solution prospectively engineered to prevent specific incidents from occurring in the first place, costs associated with those type of incidents are reduced. •        Once the root causes to a problem have been identified and a solution engineered, the solution is presented to the change management process to adequately plan the engineered change. •        Often related changes (e.g., a number of fixes to a single application) are grouped together and planned and packaged into a release. •        All of the other four IM/IT support processes provide input into the configuration management process that updates configuration settings on all of the enterprise’s IM/IT asset classes.  ...

(expenses) Plan everything: Planning every aspect of our home business is not only a must, but also builds habits that every home business owner should develop, implement, and maintain. The act of business planning is so important because it requires us to analyze each business situation, research and compile data, and make conclusions based mainly on the facts as revealed through the research. Create a competitive advantage: A home business must have a clearly defined unique selling proposition. It will be better service, a longer warranty, better selection, longer business hours, more flexible payment options, lowest price, personalized service, better customer service, better return and exchange policies. Accomplishing Dreams: One key characteristic for entrepreneurs is to believe that they can accomplish their dream to solve a problem with a business need that has not yet been......
