Contemporary Music
-Contemporary classical music can be understood as belonging to the period that started in the mid-1970s with the retreat of modernism.[1] However, the term may also be employed in a broader sense to refer to all post-1945 modern musical forms.
-Contemporary music is the music that was developed in the early 20th century around the world with little influence from the European style and elements. Several musicians both classical, neo classical, developed different styles of the music experimenting with a bit of creativity in the process. The music was recorded on tapes and was available from all over, yet varied. -Contemporary music describes popular music presently enjoyed right now in this era. Contemporary means modern, and living or existing in the same time. -Contemporary Music can be understood as belonging to the period that started in the mid 1970's with the retreat of modernism. However, the term may also be employed in a broader sense to refer to all post-1945 modern musical forms. Contemporary music is current or modern music. Most top 100 or 40 lists are based on contemporary and commercial music. This is music that pertains to today's sound and events.

Generally "contemporary classical music" amounts to:
The modern forms of art music
The post-1945 modern forms of post-tonal music after the death of Anton Webern[3]
(including serial music, electroacoustic music, musique concrète, experimental music, atonal music, minimalist music, etc.) the post-1975 forms of this music[4]
(including post-modern music, Spectral music, post-minimalism, sound art, etc.

History
At the beginning of the 20th century, composers of classical music were experimenting with an increasingly dissonant pitch language, which sometimes yielded atonal pieces. Following World War I, as a backlash against what they saw as the increasingly exaggerated gestures and formlessness of late Romanticism, certain composers adopted a neoclassic style, which sought to recapture the balanced forms and clearly perceptible thematic processes of earlier styles;[5] see also New Objectivity and Social Realism). After World War II, modernist composers sought to achieve greater levels of control in their composition process (e.g., through the use of the twelve tone technique and later total serialism). At the same time, conversely, composers also experimented with means of abdicating control, exploring indeterminacy or aleatoric processes in smaller or larger degrees.[6] Technological advances led to the birth of electronic music.[7] Experimentation with tape loops and repetitive textures contributed to the advent of minimalism.[8] Still other composers started exploring the theatrical potential of the musical performance (performance art, mixed media, fluxus).

Impressionism
Impressionism is a 19th-century art movement that originated with a group of Paris-based artists. Their independent exhibitions brought them to prominence during the 1870s and 1880s, in spite of harsh opposition from the conventional art community in France. The name of the style derives from the title of a Claude Monet work, Impression, soleil levant (Impression, Sunrise), which provoked the critic Louis Leroy to coin the term in asatirical review published in the Parisian newspaper Le Charivari.
Impressionist painting characteristics include relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time), ordinary subject matter, inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience, and unusual visual angles. The development of Impressionism in the visual arts was soon followed by analogous styles in other media that became known as impressionist music and impressionist literature.

Armand Guillaumin (1841–1927),Sunset at Ivry (Soleil couchant à Ivry) 1873, Musee d'Orsay Expressionism
Expressionism was a modernist movement, initially in poetry and painting, originating in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century. Its typical trait is to present the world solely from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas.[1][2] Expressionist artists sought to express meaning[3] or emotional experience rather than physical reality.[3][4]
Expressionism was developed as an avant-garde style before the First World War. It remained popular during the Weimar Republic,[1] particularly in Berlin. The style extended to a wide range of the arts, including expressionist architecture, painting, literature, theatre, dance, film and music.
The term is sometimes suggestive of angst. In a general sense, painters such as Matthias Grünewald and El Greco are sometimes termed expressionist, though in practice the term is applied mainly to 20th-century works. The Expressionist emphasis on individual perspective has been characterized as a reaction to positivismand other artistic styles such as Naturalism and Impressionism.

Ballroom dance
Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances, which are enjoyed both socially and competitively around the world, and growing all the more popular in North America. Because of its performance and entertainment aspects, ballroom dance is also widely enjoyed on stage, film, and television.
Ballroom dance may refer, at its widest definition, to almost any type of partner dancing as recreation. However, with the emergence of dancesport in modern times, the term has become narrower in scope. Traditionally, the term refers to the five International Standard and five International Latin style dances (see dancecategories below). The two styles, while differ in technique, rhythm and costumes, exemplify core elements of ballroom dancing such as control and cohesiveness. Developed in England,[1] the two styles are now regulated by the World Dance Council (WDC). In the United States, two additional variations are popular: American Smooth and American Rhythm, which combine elements of both traditional Latin and Ballroom dances.
There are also a number of historical dances, and local or national dances, which may be danced in ballrooms or salons. Sequence dancing, in pairs or other formations, is still a popular style of ballroom dance.

Hello

...Hey hi hello First use Hello, with that spelling, was used in publications as early as 1833. These include an 1833 American book called The Sketches and Eccentricities of Col. David Crockett, of West Tennessee,[2] which was reprinted that same year in The London Literary Gazette.[3] The word was extensively used in literature by the 1860s.[4] Etymology According to the Oxford English Dictionary, hello is an alteration of hallo, hollo,[5] which came from Old High German "halâ, holâ, emphatic imperative of halôn, holôn to fetch, used especially in hailing a ferryman."[6] It also connects the development of hello to the influence of an earlier form, holla, whose origin is in the French holà (roughly, 'whoa there!', from French là 'there').[7] As in addition to hello, halloo,[8] hallo, hollo, hullo and (rarely) hillo also exist as variants or related words, the word can be spelt using any of all five vowels.[citation needed] Telephone The use of hello as a telephone greeting has been credited to Thomas Edison; according to one source, he expressed his surprise with a misheard Hullo.[9] Alexander Graham Bell initially used Ahoy (as used on ships) as a telephone greeting.[10][11] However, in 1877, Edison wrote to T.B.A. David, the president of the Central District and Printing Telegraph Company of Pittsburgh: Friend David, I do not think we shall need a call bell as Hello! can be heard 10 to 20 feet away. What you think? Edison - P.S. first cost of sender & receiver......

...Hello The Rush to Globalize How had we gotten into this predicament? By a program of rapid foreign expansion. Although Lincoln had had manufacturing and marketing operations in Canada, Australia, and France for more than 40 years, all three were independent of one another and were treated like colonies. Lincoln was primarily a U.S. company, and its two main plants were—and still are—in the Cleveland area. It was our more recent, much bigger ventures overseas that got us into trouble. Ted dreamed of Lincoln’s becoming a global power. He immediately purchased Harris Calorific, a manufacturer of oxyfuel cutting equipment that had plants in Italy and the United Kingdom. At that time, we also got a sharp wake-up call from the market when ESAB, a major manufacturer of arc-welding products based in Sweden, suddenly bought two midsize manufacturers in the United States. ESAB, which was already operating in the Far East and Latin America, obviously had global ambitions. We feared further incursions on the U.S. market by ESAB, which would be able to use its non-U.S. profits to buy market share. But we could not buy domestic competitors ourselves because of antitrust laws. So we decided to take the battle to ESAB’s markets in Europe and Latin America. Our response would have to be quick—and substantial. In addition, we concluded that we could not export arc-welding machines to many European countries, especially Germany, the major market in Europe. Our distributors, along with our......

...Who Is Your Inspiration? Hello, my name is Lorenzo Ellison. I am from Watertown, TN. I am a veteran of the United States Navy where I served as an Operations Specialist for 5 years. I deployed to Afghanistan last year as a counterintelligence screener working for Intelitrac. As an Operations Specialist in the Navy I worked with different types of electronics, weapons, and navigational tools. My hobbies are reading, watching football, and playing on my many Apple devices. I am also interested in anything that has to do with the military because I love how all the branches work together for one common goal. My source of inspiration in my life has been my mother. She showed me that no matter how tough things and no matter what challenges face you, you have to know that trouble doesn’t last always. When I was 11, I lost my father to cancer. When he died I could tell that it really affected my mom, as it would any wife that loves her husband, but what she did afterwards is what took me for surprise. She rose to the occasion of raising four boys on her own and making sure we had what we needed. We might not have gotten everything that we wanted, but she made sure we were well taken care. She relocated her job to make sure she was closer to us so that we could all do extra curricular activities and she could be there for us if she needed to be. I am proud of my mom because she raised four boys who have never gone to jail and stayed out of trouble. My oldest brother graduated......
