Introduction

The Global McDonalds Corporation

McDonalds was founded on May 15th 1940 in San Bernardino, California, as a barbeque restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald and it is now the world’s largest chain of hamburger food restaurants. The headquarters are at Oak Brook, Illinois and the chairman is Andrew J McKenna and Don Thompson is the president and CEO. A total of 68 million customers are served daily in 119 countries across 35,000 outlets. McDonald's primarily sells hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and chicken, French fries, breakfast consumables, soft drinks, milkshakes and deserts. Due to research from customers, they have broadened their menu to include salads, fish, wraps, smoothies, fruit, and seasoned fries.

McDonald’s is a franchise business. This is one of the main reasons why McDonald’s has grown significantly since 1940. Franchising was first introduced to the United Kingdom and has now become progressively popular. A franchise is a settlement between two participants, the entrepreneur which is referred to as the franchisor and the franchisee which is the person interested in opening up another branch of the existing business. The franchise agreement permits the franchisee the right and consent to enforce a specific McDonald’s restaurant at a solitary address. The term for a franchise agreement is ordinarily for 20 years. The franchisee moralities allow the use of McDonald’s trademarks, restaurant décor designs, signage and equipment, layout, the formula and specifications for menu items, use of McDonald’s method operation, inventory control, book keeping, accounting and marketing.

McDonald’s main purpose is like the majority of other business purposes: to make as much money as they can and to provide a service marketing a decent profit off fast food.

McDonald's brand mission is to be our customers' favourite place and way to eat and drink. Our worldwide operations are aligned around a global strategy called the Plan to Win, which centre on an exceptional customer experience – People, Products, Place, Price and Promotion. In this assignment I will be describing The Global McDonalds Corporation and Isabel Hospice. I will be explaining their types of ownership, purpose, aims and objectives and the extent of their liability and debts. Also I aim to outline the different stakeholders who influence the purpose of each business. In addition I will be explaining the points of view of the different stakeholders aspiring to influence the strategic aims and objectives of each business. Lastly I will evaluate the influence different stakeholders strive in one organisation.
