...1. b There are two clues to solve this question. The first is the mandatory pair (A-B). Statement B has to come immediately after statement A as B is the response of the Labour party to the “row about the legitimacy….” mentioned in A. This leaves us with options (b) and (d). Here the difference is in the order of statements D & E. (D-E) would be the correct order as statement D introduces the event while statement E begins the description of the events that followed. Statement E also matches the tone of statement C. The paragraph has a mandatory pair (D-B) as B carries further the idea of opening of the cages, which gets introduced in D. (C-A) is another mandatory pair. Statement C compares India’s performance on social indicators with that of Asian economies. Statement A further compares India’s performance with that of poor African countries. Only options (c) and (d) have both mandatory pairs. Option (d) gets negated as the paragraph must start with C, which introduces the para. Option (c) aligns all the statements of the paragraph thereby making it coherent. Statement C clearly emerges as an introductory sentence “an episode regarding the….”. (A-E) is a mandatory pair as in statement E Akbar gives reasons to refute Hakim Ali’s argument. The only possible answer choice is (b). 6. c Option (a) clearly refers to the opening of the story which is gruesome yet comical. Option (b) is correct as the author creats humour inspite of Brr not knowing language for very long. Refer...

But Rita did not intend to send the message that whatever Jessica had been received. In fact Rita wants someone to sit and talk. If there “all behavior communication”, why Jessica did not perceive that Rita was waiting for her to sit and talk instead of did not want to be disturbed? Let’s have a look into another situation. Jack, Melissa and Himanshu were joining in a group discussion. During the discussion, Melissa keeps looking on her watch. This action was interpreted as “rushing time” by Jack and as “discussion was very bored” by Himanshu. Did Melissa’s action, keep looking on her watch, transmitting any message out? A Study of the Garasia Tribe and Strategies to Evangelize Them

...A Study of the Garasia Tribe and Strategies to Evangelize Them 1.) Overview of the Tribal Groups in Rajasthan Rajasthan is a state steeped in culture and history. Rajasthan, or the realm of the Kings, as it is known, is perhaps one of the princely states of all in India. Its history is abundant with stories and legends about its kings and rulers. In its golden age, the region was ruled by the Rajputs, and in their honor the state was known as Rajputana in its erstwhile years. These were the royal people, the Kshatriyas, the warriors and they were known to be fierce fighters, extremely proud of their heritage and position. But the state itself comprised of many other people groups, most of them tribal in nature. The state even now comprises of five major tribal people groups with many other either being the branches of these major groups or minor ones. These five tribal groups are Mina, Bhil, Garasia, Saharia and Damor. Of these tribal groups, the Minas are the largest of the lot with almost a share of close to 50 percent of the total population; Bhils come close with a population of 45 percent and then come the Garasias with a population comprising 3-4 percent of the total population of tribal people. The population of the Garasias in Rajasthan has been dwindling in the recent past because of their migration to North Gujarat. 2.) The Garasias Numerically speaking, the Garasias constitute the third largest group of the state of Rajsthan. Though they are also...

...Singh (13EM01) Sudeshna Goswami (13EM02) Executive Summary: Diversey works in the niche area of cleaning & hygiene. The company focuses on providing end-to-end solutions for cleaning, sanitation and hygiene across 160 countries. Diversey launched its operations in India during 1998. By 2012, the persistent awareness efforts on Science of Cleaning in Indian market, coupled with superior quality products & services have helped Diversey to gain more than 30% share in the organized sector. However, the unorganized market players accounted for more than 70% of the total cleaning market share. With a vision of achieving a 3-fold increase in sales growth in India over the next 3 years, Mr. Himanshu Jain (MD & VP Diversey India) was facing hurdles in penetrating the cleaning market in India. Himanshu was not sure of the best way to generate awareness that can alter the cost conscious & one-sizefits-all mindset of customers. He was also looking for a systematic approach towards removing the inefficiencies in operational setup & inventory management so as to reduce overhead costs. The recommended plan for Diversey India is to invest in advertising campaigns in India where potential of mid-size unit customers is high. This would include awareness campaigns on science of cleaning, benefits of using high quality global standard products and services, and demerits of using cheap & low quality products made of harmful chemicals. Such campaigns would shift the large no of mid-size customers...
