HOSP 590 : WEEK 1 HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT
Part 1: The scenario part C : A pharmaceutical company exhibiting at a medical convention trade show in your city wants to host an off-site evening hospitality reception for 200 of its best customers, featuring a theme that celebrates the local culture. Main purposes of this reception to show appreciation to customers after medical convention trade show. Main goal is to enhance and build even stronger relationship with customers. Another goal is take advantage of this opportunity for marketing and promote company’s new product.
Anticipation : Utilizing the following tools to promote the event and invite attendees ; Video promote the event posted in youtube, Poster, Flyer invitation to pharmaceutical companies and best customers. Utilizing these tools to promote the event and invite attendees. These tools include date and vendors that join this reception.
Arrival : Every attendees will be greet and receive pill box engraved company name and logo of the company. Near entrance if booth show recent new technologies and research of pharmaceutical industry ; especially new products from the company. Attendees could visit the booth before the programs start.
Atmosphere : Gala dinner and dance theme. The decoration is emphasis on green and white color and white lily. Stage for performance is in the front and dance floor in front of the stage. Circle the dance floor with round table, food bar and salad bar.
Appetite : Attendee will enjoy local authentic food buffet style by famous local restaurant and full bar. Menus include grilled chicken, pork chop, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, grill seafood ; shrimp, fish, squid. Side dish is french-fries, chips, mash potatoes and full salad bar. Choices of soup are clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, beef chili and vegetable soup. Desert are fresh fruit, ice-cream, cakes and pies
Activity : At the stage, CEO of company will greet attendee and give speech to show appreciation for top 10 VIP customers. Then present guest the video was show history of company, vision and next year goal, recent research and new technologies and the atmosphere from medical convention trade show. Then CEO of the pharmaceutical company present gifts for VIP customers to show appreciation. Next program is performance by a choir from local church and dance show from communication art faculty students. The last program is dance - music by local orchestra band .
Amenities : Every guest will receive pill-box engraved company name and logo of the company as token of appreciation at the entrance upon arrival.

Part 2:
The scenario part C : The city elections took place yesterday, and the newly elected mayor just called and wants to hold an impressive investiture ceremony and inaugural ball six weeks from now. The ceremony will be in the afternoon and the inaugural ball that evening, and both are to include elements that recall the campaign issues of supporting youth programs, strong law enforcement, and community pride. This event project has 2 parts. First part is investiture ceremony and the second part is inaugural ball. The venue for the event is city hall. The main purpose is to celebrate and show appreciation to the city for elect the mayor. This is a good opportunity to build relationship, communicate policy.

The vent will be held on 09/10/15. The investiture ceremony will start at 2 pm at Main Hall. The program include new mayor receive seal as symbol of appointment and speech from mayor. After the ceremony, attendee will move to East hall to enjoy food and goods exhibit from local restaurants, shops and manufacture. All benefits goes to youth programs and local law enforcement fund. At 6 pm inaugural ball begins including dance and orchestra concert from (Indiana) university band. Start the program with the new mayor offer gifts as token of appreciation for National youth advocate program and law enforcement program. The last program is dance and concert for attendee to enjoy.
