How did President Trump win? Was the campaign rigged? Did he pay his voters? Or did he just let it roll out? I, as an intelligent, scholared male will tell you how it all happened to be. First order of business.Did Trump win because his name came first in key states? In Today’s Magazine it says that,”One of the world’s leading political scientists believes Donald Trump most likely won the US presidential election for a very simple reason, writes Hannah Sander - his name came first on the ballot in some critical swing states.” That statement said it all. With some minor tweaking, we could’ve made Hillary win. By a simple switch of names with Trump on bottom and Clinton on top, I bet H.C. could’ve won. It’s just a state of mind… If you’re having a grumpy day, and that day is somehow the day of going to your local voting lot, you wouldn’t care. So with your slumpy, non agriving self, you’ll want to hurry up with your poll and scurry on home. Boom! Clinton just lost because of some non caring people, not caring. …show more content…
Volatility and a common touch. Trump is now the most famous political figure yet. He was when he was running. And he was even before he was known to the election. He was the owner of a big corporation giving him thousands, and millions of dollars giving him an upright and a good public knowing of him. Clinton was, on the other hand, not very known to anyone. She’d be lucky if her mother knew her before the election. In The Guardian it states that,”The former Apprentice host has pulled off the most astonishing victory in US history, harnessing a disgruntled electorate to beat an unpopular opponent.” You’re not going to vote on a person that you don’t know

Eventually you’ll see him finally giving reply to reporters that question and would answer with I’m not running for those elected offices, but I’m running to become the next President of the United States and won’t settle for anything other than that elected offices. Inadvertently, he would later change his tune due pressure from his fellow Republican colleagues, because they could potentially lose the open seat to Patrick Murphy thus allowing the possibility of Democrat gaining more control of the...

Donald Trump Is Hitler Speech

...Netherlands after Adolf Hitler and his National-Socialist party came to power in 1933. This house is where they hid when the Nazi’s came to the Netherlands and anti-jewish measures were introduced. The Anne Frank House tells the story of Anne and her families lives and the ultimate destruction caused by Hitler and his extreme right-wing ideas. Upon exiting the museum, I passed the visitors book, where I wrote five words: “Donald Trump should come here.” The Oxford Dictionary defines the word 'trump' as an admirable or helpful person. Does that sound like a suitable word to be associated with such a right-wing extremist? Someone who uses racism to rise to power? Someone who proposes mass-deportation in order to make America great again? Someone who blames a specific group of people for all of his countries problems? Someone who has had no leadership or civics experience at all and is now running for President of the United States - one of the most influential positions of leadership in the world? No. I think a more suitable title for a man such as Donald Trump, should be Mein Trumpf. It is...

Robinsons Thesis

...Brian Strope Mr. McGinnis WRTC 103 11 February 2016 Robinson’s Thesis Eugene Robinson’s article titled “Don’t Count on Trump Losing in November” is a very well written piece on the character that is Donald Trump and the spectacle that is his campaign. In his article, Robinson explains why the Democratic Party should take Donald Trump seriously in his bid for president and not think of him as an easily defeated opponent. Robinson goes on to explain why Trump is having such success and what makes him appealing to voters. Robinson’s thesis statement is that the democrats should take Trump seriously and realize that a lot of Americans are supporting him because they are fed up with how our political system is currently formatted. That strong and passionate following can take him far in this election, maybe farther than the Democrats think. In Robinson’s article “Don’t Count on Trump Losing in November”, he defends his thesis very well by offering support and explanations of Trump’s success. It is also clear that this article is not an informative one, but a persuasive one. This article was a great example of a persuasive piece. Robinson is not trying to get us to either vote for nor against Trump, but rather warn us against taking him lightly. He lists some of Trump’s campaign promises and explains, “Many are inconsistent with traditional American values…” He goes on to say that, because of his stern nature and tough love approach, he “strikes a cord” with many lower class...

...Trump 1 I’ve decided to do this leadership profile assignment on the Donald Trump for several different reasons. First off real estate is my profession and it’s what I truly love and believe in. Also, I feel with the current economic situation that we are in; it would be a very interesting subject to report on. Since we are in the worst economy since the Great Depression and a terrible housing market, it would make it more interesting. However, there are some people like Donald Trump that are taking advantage of the economy and thriving and growing their business. Also, Donald has experienced his own rough times before. In the early 1990’s, he was billions upside down and on the verge of losing everything. Consequently, he worked his way out of it and has grown his business since. He has ventured into new businesses and has gone main stream into television. Since the Trump Organization operates in many different aspects of real estate including everything from: purchasing, brokering, and leasing, etc. I feel it would be excellent topic to do this assignment on. Donald has had many major accomplishments in his life and has plenty of failures as well. Most recently, he is known for his reality show “The Apprentice.” His show he is both the host and the producer. Each week contestants are given a task and if you are successful you will get to stay another week. Presidental Debate 2016

...Republican Debate 1/13/2016 was held at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina and was aired on Fox Business Network at 9:00 pm. Niel Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo narrated the debate of: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Chris Cristie, Geb Bush, John Kasich. During the debate John Kaisch spoke fluently and used natural hand motions that showed that he was passionate about what he was talking about. Chris Christie used little hand motions but he made constant emotional contact with the audience by referencing the safety of our homes, families, and kids. Jeb Bush kept stuttering which showed he was nervous. He also spoke in a fake pressuring tone which was distracting to me and made it obvious he was trying too hard. Marco Rubio did not smile when the audience applauded and he didn’t wait that long to continue talking which I liked because it showed he knew what he wanted to say; however, he talked too fast which was distracting. Ben Carson’s opening was unprofessional. Donald Trump’s hand motions are excessive, obnoxious, and awkward. Democratic Debate on 1/17/16 was held at the Galillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina and was aired by NBC News at 8 pm. Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd narrate the debate of Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley. Hilary Clinton had a very strong opening. O’Malley had awkward eye contact with the audience; it was obvious when he was reading his speech. At the end of his opening he says...

...Human Resource Management MGT 318 Professor N. Laino Leadership Jeff Albright April 30, 2014 In the waning seconds of Game 6 during the 1998 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan found himself with the ball after stealing it from Karl Malone. Down by one, and with just 5.2 seconds left on the clock, Jordan rose up for a jumper that would end up being the winning points of the game. This win would earn Michael Jordan his sixth NBA championship. With every successful championship win, there is a leader who helped lead the franchise. Just as experienced leadership translates to success on the playing field, experienced leadership is essential in the business world. Leadership is defined as “the use of power and influence to direct the activities of followers toward goal achievement. That direction can affect followers’ interpretation of events, the organization of their work activities, their commitment to key goals, their relationship with other followers, and their access to cooperation and support from other work units” (McGraw 418). Often times, people who are leaders are people of power; it’s how these leaders use their power to get followers to achieve goals. Someone who is powerful is often known for their ability to influence the behavior of others. In the workforce, most leaders are managers. There are three organizational forms of power that managers can use to influence employees: legitimate power, reward power, and coercive power. Legitimate power derives from a...

Electoral College Dbq Analysis

...In the 1787 Constitutional Convention, the members debated on methods on how to pick the President of the United States. Finally the Committee of Eleven proposed an indirect election, which is the Electoral College. The voters elect the electoral college which then elects the President. However there is much room for mistakes through this process. Therefore, due to the corruption and inequality, the Electoral College is not a fair and equitable way to elect the President of the United States. Over the years, there have been times when the Electoral College elects a candidate that did not win the popular vote. For example in the election of 1824, Andrew Jackson won the popular vote with 152,933 votes but John Quincy Adams became president...
