In the poem "How It Will End" by Denise Duhamel play it in narrative poem, because the author appled the poem in a story. This poem is about a couple of witnessing a lifeguard fighting with his girlfriend. The onlookers immediately project themselves onto the couple, though they can’t actually hear what’s they really arguaing for, though pretant to understant thier stuation by appling thier own life experence into it. in the beggning of the poem both the couple and onlooker argueing for thier mistacks in life and later they deverce, because we could understant it from "she's a killjoy", that gives a conatation of they are no longer happy as they are befoer, and time to stop this relation. Finally the author utilized, "red flag" that shows she stopped loving him. In this poem author used different irony. In line nine, the speaker says. "Boy, he's sure in for it," the author uses this in verbal irony, because it is saying different from what is really meant. Also, in line sixteen, she use "stop in the name of love" it is a dramatic irony, because it gives reader to know more about the situation than character does, because it is just thier conversation and the character do not know more than that. However, it is different for the readers, because it foreshadowing them the rest of the story or thier relation.
