Ultimately both sides were able to reach a deal, so I was at least effective enough to help my client reach an agreement on terms that were acceptable to him. However, despite our overall success, I realize there are a few areas in particular where I have room for improvement. Simply because it worked out in the end in this negotiation does not mean I will be so fortunate in the future.
