3. RECOMMENDATION
3.1To enhance the strength of Intel in SWOT analysis
Strong brand image and strong brand name Intel has a strong brand image and strong brand name among the companies in the world. Intel is one of the most valuable brand in the world, so they should grow the value of their brand as they evolve the company. The evolution will allow Intel to establish a stronger connection with their customers and strengthen their overall position in the marketplace. They can re-design logos for their individual processors and other Intel technologies.
Customer loyalty Customer loyalty is very important for a company to maintain its position in the market. Intel should concern more with customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Tracking customers’ feedback should be a priority to ensure that they always know what customers want and need. Customer follow up can be conducted through phone or email survey to monitor the pulse of a customer base.
Heavy investment in R&D For decades, Intel Corporation has invested heavily in its R&D department to developed technologies enabling the computer and internet revolution that has changed the world. Since innovation is the foundation of Intel’s business, they should protect their intellectual property rights and research and development (R&D) investments which include patents, copyright, trademarks and trade secrets.

To enhance the opportunities of Intel in SWOT analysis
Expand the growing market PC chips now remain the most important segment for Intel’s valuation but Intel should expand its growing market since the demand for notebooks is increasing. Intel company should focus on these few key market segment opportunities: mobile, digital home, enterprise and address the market with the greatest opportunity for growth in the Smartphone business in the future.

Make partnerships with other brands Intel can expand its market and enhance their technical skills by make partnerships with other brands. By make partnerships with other brands, it can bring additional value for both companies. Another advantage of make partnerships with other brands is cost saving which can’t be overlooked during tough economic times.

3.2 To overcome the weaknesses of Intel in SWOT analysis

Lack of focus on mobile marketing

Intel should put more effort on the mobile market. This is because mobile market is considered as the future of the Internet. Nowadays, the amount of people who are using mobile phone such as smart phone has increased. The advancement in the mobile market has developed a chance for Intel to expand their market.

Lack of focus on customers’ need

Besides, Intel should focus on the need of customers. Since the life is getting rush, people claim everything can progress as fast as possible, so Intel should keep upgrading their service.

Increasing production costs

Intel can reduce their production cost by opting for forward and backward integration. It will not only reduce cost but will also result in better quality also.

To overcome the threats of Intel in SWOT analysis

The outflow of customers

Intel should always understand the customers’ need and try their best to fulfill it. This not only can attract more customers and also can maintain the loyalty of customers.

The development of strong competitors

Moreover, Intel should always find out the trends of other competitors. This is because by understand the strength of competitors, Intel can develop some new idea or advantage to rival with the competitors.

The emergence of new and local companies

Intel can also put more effort on advertising, they should promote about them are always emphasized on the quality of products. This can attract those customers who pay attention to the quality more than the price of products.
