HOW TO MAKE HIM LIKE YOU Sometimes you think you’ve tried everything possible to get that heartthrob’s attention but nothing seems to be working. You walk a little faster in the school hallways just to get next to him. You even spend a little extra time in the mornings just to impress him. Yet he doesn’t see you or even notice all your effort. From research and experience these tips have been tested and proven to get the attention of every and any boy out there. Smile at him. No one can ignore a cheerful girl. So if you happen to run into him in the hallways or bump into him at lunch give him a big but subtle smile. That would help to relax the atmosphere and make him notice your willingness to talk to him. It also sends a message that you are a warm and inviting person. Also everyone knows that happiness is contagious. Give him a nickname. Get on friendly grounds with him by giving him a cute and flirty nickname. When you share inside jokes with him it will instantly boost familiarity and immediately escalate “flirtiness”. And if things actually work out and you become a couple, you would have a nickname for him with history. Tweet at him. You could try getting his attention on social media. Send him a friend request and try texting him once in a while. This way you know each other a little better. This helps a lot especially if you’re a shy person and find it hard to approach him in person. Also reading his posts on the internet really gives you an insight on what he is into and what he is not, so you can know the bases of your conversations if you are able to talk to him in person. Friend his friends. His friends could be your way in. so try to become friends with his friends and they could put in a good

Ralph Lord Of The Flies Quote Analysis

...we've got to do the right things.". This is one of the first things that Jack said to all the boys, and it shows that before the savagery took over he believed a leader would be the best for all of them, but he did indeed let the savagery take over, and started to believe that there should not be rules. In fact, Jack even said "bullocks to rules" so it shows that he has changed. Which means that, the best leader in this case would have been Ralph, because he has stayed grounded, and has not drastically changed, he is more of a logical thinker, doesn't give in to the savagery, and always keeps...

Manliness

...Many people think that a boy becomes a man when his facial hair starts to grow out, how much money he makes, and what he starts to wear. A man is not defined by his age or looks. Men can have all the money in the world or looks but that doesn’t necessarily make them a man. Men are not born but men are made and raised. Responsibilities, maturity, and respect for women turn a boy into a man. Many boys grow up fast to take they can take care of their families at a early age. Because of no father figure around boys usually end up the man of the household, and start working. Therefore age never determines when you become a man or not. Many 15 years old take many responsibilities while some don’t know the meaning of responsibilities. A man is responsible for keeping food in the fridge, paying the bills, keeping clothes on, etc. “Being a dad is the most manliest job you will ever have”(144) Many young boys today become dads at a very early age and most of them end up not taking the responsibility of their child. “Fathers have stopped passing down the art of manliness to the next generation”. Many fathers neglect their families and children and let them be on their own. This means not having a male figure around for the little boys. Boys look up to their fathers and want to see a good role model. They need a man figure in their lives to teach them how to be a man. How will a boy learn how to be a man if his own father is not around to teach him about manliness and responsibilities...

Perspective In Lord Of The Flies

...Have you ever imaged what a big group of boys would do if they were left on an island with no grownups? In the book Lord of the Flies by William Golding, it describes Golding's perspective on how a group of boys would act if they were left alone on an island without grownups. Now even though some might agree with Golding, not all of his theories are possibly correct and most likely wouldn't happen. There are many quotes in the book that can prove how parts of the story wouldn't happen. Perspective also has a huge role in how we look at things. The plane, long hair, Piggy's specks, and fire are some examples that Golding takes out of proportion in my opinion. To give an example, how is the plane able to fly off when they crashed onto the...

A Fortune

...A Fortune How would you define wealth? Is it when you have a lot of money stored in the bank? Or is when you a feeling of joy in your stomach every time you see you family and friends. Are such famous quotations as “enough is as good as a feast” true or just empty word for those who aren’t that fortunate? This large debate, provide a basis for the short story “A fortune” by Joy Monica T. Sakaguchi. In the short story we meet a young man, who lives on pickpocketing. Mainly because he grew up in a less fortunate environment, with a dad who wasn’t caring, and a mother who only focused on the problems and worst things in life. But after all the times the father had let his boy down, the boy still came to him every time, he had snatched a wallet. This was a boy who was seeking the feeling of presence and love from his parents, this might be the the reason why he started pickpocketing for his father; because when he did that he felt like he had something in common with his father, and by doing it he (sometimes) made his father glad. But he was still worried about his father’s view on him; this is obvious where he thinks ”I should have counted the money I just didn’t want to know how much Pop thought I was worth” (p. 1 l.13) The mothers influence on this kid has not been much better, I guess that it must have been more...

This is a description for teachers about the big ideas and key understanding that students should take away after completing this task. Big Ideas and Key Understandings Writers use irony to fuel the plot of a story. Synopsis Bill and Sam decide that the best way to finance their upcoming land swindle is to kidnap the child of a wealthy citizen and hold him for ransom. The boy they choose, instead of being the docile, frightened child one would expect, is a terror who abuses Bill in every way he can think of, all in the name of fun. The response to their ransom note is not what they would have wished: instead of paying $1500 to get Johnny back, the father demands $250 to take the boy off their hands. In desperation, they agree, and end the story poorer than they began. Read the entire selection, keeping in mind the Big Ideas and Key Understandings. Gender Roles

...Gender Identity is a big part of our society. Society has a very strict mindset on how people are expected to be and how each gender should act. Expected gender roles can be very damaging to our kids. Even though we are assigned these gender roles, it is not guaranteed that everyone is going to stick with how they were born, it may be hard for one to be able to connect biologically to them. I believe that forcing and expecting our children to strictly be with what they were born to be, just like society is so used to seeing gender identity, and they choose to act the opposite gender can be very damaging in many ways. The connection parents have with their children is one of the most important things while the child is growing up mainly focusing in their early years, and to know that as a parent you have the power to force your children to be what is expected of them isn’t the way to go. In this essay, I will be talking and giving a couple stories on how the discrimination of parents against their children’s gender identity can be damaging to them and in general about acceptance from parents about one’s gender roles. Children are technically still developing until they have reached their twenties, so with that being said I believe that gender roles are affected mainly by families. The children are not the ones to blame for what gender they choose to be. Remember children are still developing, most children get into gender identity as they grow up and get to know themselves...

Creative Writing: A Narrative Fiction

...Trudy had to ask, “You’re going to make them undress? Right here in front of us?” Miss Hartick had expected that kind of attitude, but she knew what to say. “Boys are not like girls. They don’t need the same kind of privacy. The only reason it bothers them is that they’ve been told that it should bother them. If they could only get past it, then they wouldn’t be embarrassed about their bodies at all. They shouldn’t be. Now boys, get on with it.” The ladies in the room were all eyes. Trudy, Allison, and Mindy weren’t sure they believed this. It was a joke. It had to be. Shelly, Miss Devasquez and Miss Hartick were all ready for another round of enforced nudity. The boys were mumbling and averting their eyes as they started stripping off their clothes. They were already blushing, and it was just starting. They saw the girls’ eyes get big with anticipation. David asked, “How far do we have to go?” “You’re going to take it all off, but for now you can stop at your underwear. Everything else, take it off.” Trudy and Allison couldn’t believe they were about to see their...
