Hello, my name is Khaila. I’m 16 years old I live with my mom and step dad. I have only lived in Georgia for a year or so now I used to live in California with my dad and step mom, I am the oldest out of four. I have a younger brother and two younger sisters. My birthday is July 20, 1996. I love cheese and butter on everything I eat. My favorite sport is football but, I don’t play any type of sport and nor am I in any club. I would describe myself as a very non judgmental person because I don’t judge people on anything. They have been through, for the most part I treat people the way they want to be treated and I feel as if you have to earn my respect and trust it’s not just given to you. I’m also a lazy person I don’t like to do much; I especially don’t like to try new things. I feel as if I have very few accomplishments in my life I think I will feel accomplished with myself when I graduate and join the air force. I have very high expectations for myself maybe it’s because of my family and that I want to make them proud and not let them down. I plan on graduating high school, then going straight into the air force and being a nurse. While I’m in the air force I want to go to college. I want my kids to have a better future than me, I want to know that when I’m an adult and on my own my parents won’t` have to worry because they will know that they taught me well enough to know right from wrong, and how to care for

Music Business Plan

...models for creating business plans and as such, this is only one possible model. Make sure that you are writing a business plan which best reflects you as an artist and your music. Just a reminder: Your business is your music, your band and all of the promotion and marketing that you do for yourself so that you are successful in this industry. What is a Business Plan? The business plan outlines your professional goals, how you will achieve those goals and the resources that you have and need to get in order to achieve those goals. It is basically the story of your career and your business. The business plan takes you from the “idea stage” to the “action stage.” Why Write a Business Plan? At the very basic level (and perhaps the most important level), the business plan will allow you to focus your thinking, set a realistic plan with realistic goals, and get you moving forward with your career. Additionally, the business plan can be used to bring in key players whom you would like to have as a part of your team. These key players might include prospective managers, agents, labels. The business plan shows these people that you have thought about your career, planned how you want to achieve your goals and treat your career seriously. Finally, the business plans are often used to obtain financing from investors, banks, venture capitalists, government, etc. The business plan might be included in applications for FACTOR or SRIA’s new funding programs. B173 Term Paper.Pdf

...Bio 173 Fisheries Biology: Term Paper Date: September 3, 2013 File: d:\B173-2013\B173_term_paper.wpd Summary You are to write a scientific term paper about a topic related to fisheries biology. Goal Ron Coleman The goal is for you to produce a term paper that illustrates that you have researched and thought in depth about a topic in fisheries biology. The term paper will tell me that you understand the important issues in a particular field and have identified the current cutting edge in that research. This paper is NOT an essay. I do not want you to explain a topic to me. I want you to discuss current research on a topic. If you find yourself including extensive background material then you are not doing the paper correctly. The paper is about the current research, not just about the phenomenon. For each of your source papers, tell me what the authors were trying to investigate, how they did their investigation, what they found and what it means. It is possible that you have never done this kind of paper before. If you are unclear about what you are doing, ask me about it. If you think that this is just like writing a typical term paper on some topic, then you are dead wrong. Most importantly, think of this as an opportunity to show me what you can do, not as something that you have to do. I want you to discover something and to share that discovery with me. Potential Topics I suggest you look at the following journals for inspiration: Science, Nature, Journal of Fish Biology...

Adventures in Cheating

...over. This fall, did you find yourself pulling many bong hits but few all-nighters? Absorbing much Schlitz but little Nietzsche? Attending Arizona State University? If the answer is yes to any or (especially) all these questions, you will no doubt be plagiarizing your term papers. Good for you—we're all short on time these days. Yes, it's ethically blah blah blah to cheat on a term paper blah. The question is: How do you do it right? For example, the chump move is to find some library book and copy big hunks out of it. No good: You still have to walk to the library, find a decent book, and link the hunks together with your own awful prose. Instead, why not just click on a term paper Web site and buy the whole damn paper already written by some smart dude? Que bella! Ah, but which site? I shopped at several online term paper stores to determine where best to spend your cheating dollar. After selecting papers on topics in history, psychology, and biology, I had each paper graded by one of my judges. These were: Slate writer David Greenberg, who teaches history at Columbia; my dad, who teaches psychology at the University of Rhode Island (sometimes smeared as the ASU of the East); and my girlfriend, who was a teaching assistant in biology at Duke (where she says cheating was quite common). So, which site wins for the best combination of price and paper quality? I compared free sites, sites that sell "pre-written papers," and a site that writes custom papers to your specifications...

History of Persuasion Essay

...better idea or thought process than someone else. It’s very important to understand what being persuasive really is. Persuasion in itself including writing. It’s a form of expression getting someone or reasoning with them your way of thinking on an issue or argument. The Sophists were teachers and professors who came to Greece cites. Here’s a short introduction Fifth century B.C.E. “The word  sophists was still broadly applied to ‘wise men’, including poets such as Homer and Hesiod, the Seven Sages, the Ionian ‘physicists’ “ I thought this would be a good understanding of who these people were and their thoughts. A theorist that I decided to go with was Antiphon after doing some of my research I found him to be the most interesting. The bio of him is fairly unclear probably do to lost information in the past since he was in BC time before Christ. One thing that I found in my research that was very unresolved was whether or not he should be identified with Antiphon of Rhamnus who was a teacher of rhetoric. For those that don’t to what that means it’s a art of persuasive speaking and compositional techniques. Back to the man at hand the man was a member of the oligarchy which held power in Athens that was a huge thing during that time having someone in that position. Antiphon seemed to be a man that was a strong writer as well as a very smart man who had his ways of getting his point across in a very good way that everyone could understand. This through research seems to be...

For Whom the Bell Tolls

...ASSIGNMENT 3 Role models are of critical importance in developing a career. It is essential that you look at the best in business and understand how they have become successful. Go out and find a VERY successful entrepreneur who has a dramatic impact upon their field. I would prefer that you seek this person out in the field in which you and your team are going to he doing your project, or it could be a real winner (not your parents or close relatives) in a field in which you are personally interested perhaps for a job for the future. Get an interview with them, pick their brains, cogitate and chew on what you have learned for a while, and then write a concise and powerful paper on your key findings about this person on how they became successful. The length of the paper is a maximum 2 PAGES with 10 or 11 point font and single-spacing. Find one of the real movers and shakers in the field. They may be the owner of a successful business locally, or it could he a regional or national entrepreneurial success story. Look at the industry or career you are interested in, then find the best, a really good entrepreneur, one who built the business, not just a manager. Do not set your sights low. Strive for the top, if you don't get that, go for no less than second best. You may get turned down. So what. A good businessperson loves to talk about their successes and their abilities (sometimes they will talk too much), and they often have a compelling inner need to pass along their successes...

...or not. Stories have to get me involved with the story somehow in order for me to get interest. If it’s not catching my attention, I’m not reading it. But most importantly, critical thinking is what ties reading and writing together. I am very picky about the books and articles I read. Stories for me have to have a mystery or even sometimes a sappy love story. Of course I’m going to love romantic books because I’m a girl, right? Yet again, some love stories bore the living hell out of me because it’s a “typical” love story. Reading books just all depends on how the author grabs his reader’s attention and how he plays the story throughout the book. When I find a book that I’m interested in, I will read the entire novel. Or even something that is scary will keep hooked on the story. Scary stories are my favorites because the story just keeps my suspense in play. Celebrity gossip is definitely something that I get into reading. There is always something new with these celebrities. Since these celebrities are well known, their lives are somehow interesting to us. We love the celebrity gossip because they’re famous and any juicy story about a celebrity will catch our attention. The writers of these magazine articles know how to grab my attention. It’s almost like they just suck all your attention into the story to where your face is only an inch from touching the magazine. In order for these writers to...

..."Apartments for Rent" with an arrow indicating the direction. Many people search for apartments by driving around neighborhoods that they like, and a banner or a sign is an easy-to-see advertisement that does not require a large investment. Before using signs, check your area's regulations on their use to avoid incurring fines or other penalties. Craigslist: When searching for a place to live, many people head directly to the Craigslist postings for their city. To post your apartments, simply visit the Craigslist page for your area and click on the "post to classifieds" button. When advertising on the site, avoid placing logos and generic floor plans; often, readers will skip directly over these. Instead, write a basic listing for each available unit and include details about utilities. To increase the hits for your ad, be sure to include prices, offer an email reply option, and post pictures with the listing. Universities: If your apartment complex is appropriate for students, consider looking into advertising with a local university or even a community college. Many schools offer off-campus housing listings, and you will usually be able to include your rental units for free. If the...
