In order for Jamila to meet this goal she must burn approximately 6,000 calories a week. Jamila will need to work out twice a day to achieve this goal. In the morning, Jamila will start with an active stretch before she starts her cycling class. She will burn approximately 150-180 calories from actively stretching (Rifkin, 2011).
