External environmental factors are everything that is outside of the organization that helps it to operate effectively. The four external environmental factors are Economic, Sociological, Technological, and Political and Professional. Economic factors have to do with income and funding, and of course not forgetting the competitors. Sociological factors have to do with the target population. This determines what groups the organization will focus on. Target populations range from children, teenagers, and adults. Technological factors have to do with new technology and the need to stay up-to-date as well as keeping track of new ways to help people. Political and professional factors have to do with the laws and competitors, or people and business’s that they can work with.
The six internal factors are made up of the organizations vision, mission, goals, culture, beliefs, and products. The organizations vision helps set goals and keeps the employees focused on the future. The mission statement outlines the organizations purpose and who they are. Goals are set up to motivate employees to strive for their best and the best of the organization. Culture has to do with how the vision of the organization will be carried out based on their values. Beliefs are the values of the organization, these values help to motivate. The products are the services which help to meet all of the organizations factors.
The factors that I see important are the Sociological factors and goals. Finding out what group of people will be using the organization and catering to that group. Goals help the organization to strive to be better than they have been and for all employees to do their best.

The four external environmental factors that help the human service organization successful and achieve optimal function are the following: Government: The assistance of government to human service organizations plays a vital role to a continuous support and function of the organization. Designing a Reward System

...1 Designing a reward system Shirquana DeBerry HSM/220 May 13, 2012 Sally Paige Nichols Axia College of University of Phoenix 2 My mission within this organization is to boost morale and the overall work ethics of my employers. I feel that the employees perform their best and are more motivated to complete task when there are incentives involved. I want my establishment to be the type where all the employees are happy to be at work and there are no conflicts. I know that no company is perfect and that there are flaws in every establishment, but it is up to me to determine what those flaws will be and how we can improve them. Although people are motivated in different ways it is up to me to find out what that one thing is and make it better so that everyone involved is happy. I believe in creating a stress free environment for my employees and making sure that all of their basic needs are being met. Here at the Family Crisis Center I want to make sure that each employee is respected by each person that works in this office. We will have quarterly team building exercises to help promote communication within our company. By doing this it gives everyone from each department to have the opportunity to meet one another and also to meet any new additions that they have not yet had a chance to meet. This is also the perfect time in which each employee that is with the company will have the chance to meet any CEO or department head that they have not previously met...

Designing a Rewards System

...Designing a rewards system HSM/220 March 20, 2015 Shanti Anderson      When creating a rewards system for employees, it is vital to understand the rewards system itself. A rewards system must be offered by managers that understand how effectiveness is to be achieved and what its employees consider to be the important factors in determining the quality of work life.     There are four necessary reward system properties; basic needs satisfied, competitive benefits, equitable distribution, and employees treated as individuals. To ensure basic needs are being met the company must offer competitive pay scales, as money is the biggest motivator to every employee. Basic needs are described as the ability to support themselves and their families. This includes housing, food, transportation, utilities, etc. Also, an employee must feel their worth to the company and should be compensated accordingly. Employees want to know the company values their work. This gives each employee the motivation to give 100%. To ensure competitive benefits are offered, a company must know the financial responsibilities of offering these benefits. After knowing the numbers, the company's management must then determine what they can afford to offer in a benefits package. These benefits will vary depending on each employee's position but should be competitive on that pay scale to other companies.  Benefits should be offered to every employee. If the company cannot afford to do this, they must shop...

Quiet: Power of Introverts

...MORE ADVANCE NOISE FOR QUIET “An intriguing and potentially lifealtering examination of the human psyche that is sure to benefit both introverts and extroverts alike.” —Kirkus Reviews (starred review) “Gentle is powerful … Solitude is socially productive … These important counterintuitive ideas are among the many reasons to take Quiet to a quiet corner and absorb its brilliant, thought-provoking message.” —ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, professor at Harvard Business School, author of Confidence and SuperCorp “An informative, well-researched book on the power of quietness and the 3/929 virtues of having a rich inner life. It dispels the myth that you have to be extroverted to be happy and successful.” —JUDITH ORLOFF, M.D., author of Emotional Freedom “In this engaging and beautifully written book, Susan Cain makes a powerful case for the wisdom of introspection. She also warns us ably about the downside to our culture’s noisiness, including all that it risks drowning out. Above the din, Susan’s own voice remains a compelling presence—thoughtful, generous, calm, and eloquent. Quiet deserves a very large readership.” —CHRISTOPHER LANE, author of Shyness: How Normal Behavior Became a Sickness 4/929 “Susan Cain’s quest to understand introversion, a beautifully wrought journey from the lab bench to the motivational speaker’s hall, offers convincing evidence for valuing substance over style, steak over sizzle, and qualities that are, in America, often derided. This book is brilliant...
