Abstract The goal of our project team is to come up with a working system for Benefits Elections and to have the project be completed within reasonable cost and on time. We will show with Gantt charts and Work Breakdown Structures how we plan to achieve this goal. We will discuss how we plan to achieve this using scope management, budget management, time management, etc.

Huffman Trucking is a well established trucking company with three locations, St. Louis, Los Angeles, and Bayonne. It grew from one tractor-trailer to 16 tractors and 36 trailers in under 10 years. Its employees range from union to non-union employees, which include drivers, management, mechanics, office workers, safety workers, marketing, accounting, etc. That is why Huffman has hired us to create a benefits election program to help keep track of the different benefits offered to different employees.
Our hope is to create a plan that will allow us to create a benefits election program that will meet a budget and timeframe that will be acceptable to Huffman. We plan to achieve this by following the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). We are going to use the nine knowledge areas to create a successful project. They are scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, human resource management, communications management, risk management, procurement management, and integration management (Cervone, 2007).
In order to effectively plan this project we must have a clear and defined scope. In order to have an effective scope you must have five components, planning, definition, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), verification, and control. Planning is what the project manager will do to get the team to define and develop the scope. The planning is the most crucial part because it does contain different parts

...Work-Related Project Analysis, Parts I and II BSA 376 July 9, 2012 Michele Busby Work-Related Project Analysis, Parts I and II Implementation stages which are continually regarded as dull take substantially longer times and more resources than the rest of the project. Additionally, the stages for implementation are interdependent on each other hence; during the implementation the complexity of the project is at the highest. Throughout this paper I will discuss the development and implementation stages for my project which is for a Private Jet Charter organization known as Exec Jet Club. Included in this paper will be the major activities, coding, testing, installation, and documentation for each activity involved with Exec Jet Clubs project.
