Human resources management roles In any organization today the most important responsibility of a manager is to motivate staff members. Motivating staff members can help an organization to ensure a productive and healthy work environment. The health care organization is important for managers to demonstrate a passion for what they do. In the health care organization when empowered staff members provide a proper care environment. Staff members view managers who work side-by-side with them as part of the team rather than just the head (Staren, 2009). The human resources management system is misunderstood but is very important to the health care organization. The health care organization uses human resources management to recruit and develop employees who will help in meeting the goals of the organization. A human resources manager helps attract competent employees, assist managers and employees on how to adapt to organizational changes, facilitates the use of technology, and determine how, and where to work. Human resources management is important to the health care organization because the human resources management allows organizations to address human resources issues and deliver high quality health services despite the challenges to the organization. An effective human resources manager knows how to prioritize organizations business strategies and manage the changes of the health sector reform (Management Sciences for Health, 2001). At the health care organizational level the human resources manager has many important roles to play.
