Living on Mars project

In my Living on Mars project on sketchup, I have included the basic requirements needed for a family of four to be able to live on Mars. I have included all of the mandatory rooms needed and I have added a separate space shuttle landing bay. For my renewable energy source, I have used solar panels on top of the shuttle. Since there is not that much atmosphere on Mars, more of the Suns radiation will come onto Mars so by using solar panels, I can use that energy to my advantage. I have also used different colours to represent different items. Etc. I have used different colours in the lab to represent different dishes each with different substances inside. I have also used different colours in the house and have tried to minimise the space of each room as much as possible so that you hav more room in the common area or bedroom.
Some facts about Mars * It takes Mars 687 Earth days to orbit the Sun * Mars has seasons like Earth, but they last twice as long. * Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun * Pieces of Mars have been found on Earth. * The tallest mountain known in the solar system is on Mars.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I think that most of the design criteriaon my sketchup design was met. The possible improvements or modifications that I would change to my design would be that to add more rooms and to make things abit different because on my design I have did normal rectangular shapes for the doors and walls whereas I could have tried round doors or added small tunnels to lead one room to the next. Other users can benefit from my research because in the future, we human beings will be eventually staring to live on Mars and for those people who want to know how it is like they can look at my research and see for themselves what it would be like to live on Mars.
