We have arrived in Plimouth a few hours ago and I miss you friends so much, but please do not come to America. As life will be unbearable and Ido not want you to suffer the pains that come along with this great journey. We faced many dangers and sickness along the way as well as loneliness.
On the ship, which is named the Mayflower, there is no sanitation and we haven't showered for almost two, eternal months. The dried meat, fruits and cheese were rotting and the once good beer, had turned sour. Because the food had turned bad, and the rats had crawled all over the food, the passengers caught scurvy from lack of vitamin c and other such illnesses. Living in very crowded conditions, was an easy way to spread sickness to one another like a line
