4. Penukaran asas bagi logaritma.

Kemahiran pemfaktoran biasanya diperlukan semasa menjawab soalan persamaan indeks. Kita teruskan kepada contoh :

Berikut merupakan langkah-langkah penyelesaian :

Kalau mengikut pengalaman saya, ramai pelajar pening dengan proses pemfaktoran. Pening? Jika pening, gunakan cara penggantian. Biarkan setiap nombor yang ingin difaktorkan menjadi algebra. Saya ambil contoh yang sama.

Biar lambat asal selamat. Tapi, kalau dah biasa, mesti cepat!

Contohnya :

Indeks dah sama, buang jeee .. Teknik sama, kita panggil kaedah perbandingan. Kita banding-banding laa sebelah kanan dan sebelah kiri. Kalau sama, betul la tu. Buang yang sama.

Log Pearson

...Log-Pearson Type III Distribution What is it? The Log-Pearson Type III distribution is a statistical technique for fitting frequency distribution data to predict the design flood for a river at some site. Once the statistical information is calculated for the river site, a frequency distribution can be constructed.  The probabilities of floods of various sizes can be extracted from the curve. The advantage of this particular technique is that extrapolation can be made of the values for events with return periods well beyond the observed flood events. This technique is the standard technique used by Federal Agencies in the United States. How is it calculated? The Log-Pearson Type III distribution is calculated using the general equation: where x is the flood discharge value of some specified probability,  is the average of the log x discharge values, K is a frequency factor, and  is the standard deviation of the log x values. The frequency factor K is a function of the skewness coefficient and return period and can be found using the frequency factor table.  The Log-Pearson Type III distribution tells you the likely values of discharges to expect in the river at various recurrence intervals based on the available historical record. This is helpful when designing structures in or near the river that may be affected by floods. It is also helpful when designing structures to protect against the largest expected event. For this reason, it is customary to perform the......

...I will not let this become a thing. It’s over! No more Swarley, no Swarles, no more Swar-ley, no more Swar-wait for it-ley, no more Bob Swarleyman! No more! No! It’s over! Do you understand? SHORT SUMMARY: ‘How I Met Your Mother’ is American TV show about Ted telling his children a story about how he met their mother. His stories include four of his closest friends – Marshall, Lily, Robin and Barney and many of their adventures before the time Ted met his wife. Transcripted episode is from second season and it is seventh episode of it. Currently there are eight episodes of this show. This episode is mainly about Marshall going on first date after he and Lily broke up. LANGUAGE FOCUS: Writing down the transcription for this log was much easier for me because I am familiar with TV show and the way they speak, especially because I usually watch episodes without subtitles. Firstly, I would like to pay attention to spoken language. In general it was understandable, because many people use similar spoken language in their everyday interactions. Tempo was also normal for everyday conversation and sentences between persons were not overlapping. This made it easier to hear the correct words. Pronunciation of words was mostly clear; it happened rarely that I did not hear correct word that was spoken. MARSHALL: Oh. So here you go – two pumpkin beers. I’m joking…. Beers. What is that? This picture is broken. Language is colloquial and it includes some......

Food Log

...Food log reflection paper This assignment changed my eating habits a little bit. There were times I noticed the food I was eating was not as healthy as it should have been. The logging of the food was kind of in the middle as far as difficulty. The hardest part was finding all the information such as fat, protein, and carbohydrates. Also I would forget over the weekends to log in what I ate and would have to backtrack the meals. I would not make my Marines keep a food log but I would definitely suggest trying it for two weeks like we did. It will give them the chance to find out some eating habits that are not as healthy as they thought they were eating. I think the Marine Corps tries to promote healthy eating but due to the tempo we were in because of the war some things were higher priorities. The chow hall sometimes does not always promote the healthiest of food and by having a meal card it gets expensive trying to buy food. I noticed that days before PT I would eat healthier than days I did not have PT. I think it changed because mentally I would think I could do better on PT and not have as hard of a time. My nutrition habits on the weekends changed for the worst. I would not go to the chow hall and I would just eat at all the fast food places on base or off base. My overall assessment of the assignment of the food log is that I did eat unhealthy at times but I ate more healthy food than unhealthy. I gained a lot of knowledge as far as there are different tools out......

...Reflective Practice Guidance Logs Part 1 – Objective Observation(Clearly identify the problem. Examine the “context” of the problem.)Date: _____OCT 04 2013_______Name of children: OB, CasmIn the free play time, I was sitting on the carpet and supervising the children. OB was the first one to play with the toy. C came over and wanted it too. C tried to take the toy from OB and they started to fight over it. Both of them were pulling the toy. OB pushed C, scramming, “mine, mine” | Part 2 – Decision(Clearly identify the guidance strategy and state why the chosen strategy is appropriate for this child / situation.)Based on the above case, the guidance strategy that I chose in this solution was giving choices. This strategy is developmentally appropriate. Children like to say words like “Mine” and “no” (Ages and Stages: A brief overview.) Making choices is a choice which the children need to be taught. According to books “For children, being able to practice making choices and decision as a child helps them develop an important life skill.” (Marion, 2011.pp132). This strategy would give C a chance to make his own choice and also help her to play with other children and develop their friendship. | Part 3 – Action(Clearly discuss your actions, the child’s response and the results of the guidance strategy.)I took the toy away and bent down to meet their eye level. I used positive words like “please be gentle to your friend.” Instead of “don’t do it!” I gave the toy back to...

Angka Indeks

Indeks Sederhana dari Harga Rata-rata (Simple Average of the Price Indexes) Indeks rata-rata ini dimulai......

Learning Log

...LEARNING LOGS or A REFLECTIVE LEARNING JOURNAL One way of developing evidence of your skills and knowledge development is to engage in the process of producing a learning log or learning journal. A learning log is basically a record or journal of your own learning. It is not necessarily a formal ‘academic’ piece of work. It is a personal record of your own learning. As such it is a document which is unique to you and cannot be ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, although there are ‘better’ and ‘worse’ ways of producing one. A learning log helps you to record, structure, think about and reflect upon, plan, develop and evidence your own learning. In the context of this module your learning needs to meet certain requirements if you are to achieve the assessment evidence criteria for your chosen skill area. What is a learning log? A learning log or journal is something that you use write down things which you may use as evidence of your own learning and skills development. It is not just a record of ‘What you have done’ but a record of what you have learnt, tried and critically reflected upon. For example in your learning log you could include details of what you did or how you did something and your reflections on this. Becoming a good self-critical reflector is not easy to do. You will probably not become a critical self reflector overnight, and it is a skill that some people seem to be able to do easily, whereas others, particularly people used to a more didactic or......

Reflective Log Tips

...Tips for Writing a Reflective Learning Log for an Assignment What is a reflective log? This kind of log is a record of your learning experiences, thoughts, feelings and reflections. It is not just a diary of what you have done, but a critical assessment of how you have progressed. It is less formal than other kinds of assignments - for example you should write in the first person. To be truly reflective you need to ask yourself some questions: • • • • • • What have I achieved? Have I made progress? Have I developed new skills? How might I use these skills in the future (at university or in the workplace)? How have I changed my learning style? What would happen if I continued to practice this new skill? Think about the last assignment you did.... • • • • • Were you satisfied with the result? How could you improve the process of planning, research or writing? How could you improve your marks? What new things did you try? How did you overcome any difficulties? The advantages of being a reflective learner Students who successfully keep learning logs often notice changes associated with reflection Accepting becomes questioning Information for this handout and presentation was taken from: Pulman, A. Introducing Transaction Log Files

...Introducing Transaction Log Files Each SQL Server 2000 database has at least one transaction log file and can have multiple transaction log files spread across a number of disks. Each transaction log file is a separate operating system file and is used by only one database. Each transaction log file generally has the .ldf filename extension (this extension is not required). Each transaction log has a logical filename that is used in Transact-SQL statements and a physical filename that is used by the Windows operating system. Additional file properties include the file ID number, initial file size, file growth increment (if any), and maximum file size. Unlike data files that contain pages, transaction log files contain a series of transaction log records. A sequential log sequence number (LSN) identifies each transaction log record. Regardless of the number of physical log files, SQL Server 2000 treats the transaction log as one continuous log. SQL Server 2000 logically divides each physical transaction log file into a number of virtual log files (VLFs). The number and size of virtual log files are determined dynamically based on the size of each transaction log file. Each transaction log file has at least two VLFs. Each growth increment (if any) is treated as a separate physical file with its own VLFs. The number or size of VLFs cannot be configured or set directly by the database administrator. SQL Server 2000 tries to maintain a small number of virtual file logs because......

Beaver Log

...Beaver teeth are so sharp that Native Americans once used them as knife blades. Beavers eat tree bark and the soft tissue, that lies beneath the bark. Trees they seem especially fond of are willows, maples, poplars, beeches, birches, alders, and aspens. Mr. Kaiser’s beaver log was hallowed out like a cylinder with pointed ends. This log was accidently placed on the bomb fire and burned which caused physical and chemical reactions and changes. Let’s talk about some of the physical and chemical properties. Physical properties can be observed or measured without changing the composition of the matter. The beaver’s log had the following physical properties. It was shaped like a cylinder with pointed ends, brown and rough. The beaver ate the bark and the soft tissue in order to receive nourishment. Chemical properties of matter describe its “potential” to undergo some chemical change or reaction by virtue of its composition. As the beaver log burns, it goes through three phases. The first phase is the evaporation of water. As the wood is heated moisture evaporates quickly consuming heat energy in the process. The second phase is the emission of smoke. As the wood heats up, it starts to smoke. The smoke is the visible result of the destruction of the solid wood as it vaporizes into a cloud of combustible gases. The smoke will burn if the temperature is high enough and oxygen is present. The third and final phase is the charcoal phase. As the fire grows and most...
