Informative Essay On 9/11

Based on 9/11 attacked to the United States, I feel the greatest threat is terrorist cyber-attack on national institutions. This attack was the worst in US history and hopefully it will never happen again. As a result of the vicious attack, it changed the process of security in all airports. The screening is more in tensed and you are not allowed to bring certain items on the airplane. Some might feel that it is an inconvenience or time consuming but for the safety of the passengers it is all worth it. I just traveled to Roswell, GA this week and noticed that the passengers are more observant and cautious. Because of we are living on the edge and that’s not a good observation to have.

Here you had innocent people running a race for charity, with their loves ones and children. It is events like these that would catch a family off guard because you are not expecting tragedy to happen. Events likes these have changed the culture of America.
“The Boston Marathon bombing was the 59th publicly known terror plot against the United States since 9/11. In a political environment of sequestration on the one hand, and privacy concerns on the other, there are those on both sides of the aisle who want to cut counterterrorism spending and restrict the scope of U.S. intelligence agencies.” (The Heritage Foundation – 60 Terrorist Plots Since

Web Pages Analysis

...Web Pages Analysis – Module 7 As the world of technology progresses every day, having a website has become crucial for businesses and schools. “With costs being extremely low at the entry level, it's becoming difficult to imagine a reason for any company of any size not to have a website.” [1] There are multiple benefits of having a website such as: save time and cost, increase sales, services, and accessibility, higher credibility, and so forth. For this research paper I will be analyzing six web pages. Based on the e-business I’m creating, three business pages I’m reviewing are: Essay Lab, Smart Writing Services and Ninja Essays. The remaining three web sites are: Suffolk Community College, Nassau Community College and Dr. Ebrahimi’s website. To begin with, Essay Lab is one of the three writing service businesses I’ve selected. The home page of this particular business is informative and gives a good idea of what the business is about and why would a person need to use their service. However, I feel more information to support their business could be provided. Another issue is the content is not direct to the point; instead it drags on causing lack of interest to the reader. Stating live chat availability and not actually providing it is another problem with the website which fails to meet the 7x2C standard of ‘Completeness and Coverage’. On the other hand, the navigation is consistent and effective. The organization of the website as well is intuitive and easy to...

Domestic Terrorism Significance

...Domestic Terrorism and Why It’s Significant September 11, 2001 was a very significant day for the U.S. It caused widespread panic and terror. There have been many, many acts of terrorism since that day, many of which are not committed by enemies to our country, but by citizens within. These acts of terrorism committed by people from our country are known as “Domestic Terrorism.” It is my belief that people should be educated on the matter and on the attacks so the general population can be aware of our situation rather than assuming everything bad is caused by Muslims from the middle east, because that’s racist. According to Google, Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.” Most people understand the concept, though some are unaware that terrorism can be further categorized by the origin of the attacks. International Terrorism is what most people are familiar with, these are attacks coming from outside of the country being attacks (U.S.A. in our case,) Domestic Terrorism are attacks coming from citizens within the country. They are both Terrorism and inherently bad, but they also are generally differentiated by motive. The F.B.I defines terrorism further by saying that it is an offense that Is calculated to influence or affect the conduct of government by intimidation or coercion, or to retaliate against government conduct. This is more informative...

...Traditional On Campus Class Welcome to the Traditional On Campus version of Speech 103 Oral Communication! I look forward to getting to know each of you. Over the years, I have learned that many of you dread taking this class (don’t worry I felt the same way when I had to take this class) but I hope that you will find your worries to be unfounded. I work very hard to try to create a comfortable learning environment, primarily because I need you to participate in order for this class to work. This is a participatory-based class where we will all work together to help each other improve our communication skills. Consequently, you will play an active role in your own learning as well as active role in the learning of the other students in this class. Research has shown that when you are an active participant in a class you increase how much you remember as well as how much you can recall after the semester has ended. However, I have found that when you are an active participant in my class you will look forward to coming to each class session and your fears of public speaking will soon decrease. Since this class is participatory, you will find that you will put a lot of thought and effort into this class. Much learning will occur both in class and out side of class. However, while this class is demanding, I hope that you will both enjoy this experience and learn a great deal about communication, how you communicate, and how to be a better...

Aseptic Technique

...This essay it will explain the Aseptic Technique and how it is used to prevent the spread of infection in wounds. It will also give a personal experience of performing the technique. Hart (2004) states the principle of Aseptic Technique is to prevent the spread of micro organisms to wounds and to protects the nurse and patient from healthcare-associated infections (HCIA). The technique used for less invasive procedures such as intravenous drugs and wound care is the Aseptic No-touch Technique (ANTT) (Pratt et al 2007). The key aspects of this skill are consent, preparation and prevention. The nurse must obtain consent from the patient and explain the procedure. The patient must be made comfortable and placed in a suitable position as the technique may take some time to conduct, the nurse must be able to have access to the wound to prevent any additional contamination. ANTT should be carried out in a quite calm environment, cleaning should be done at least half an hour before and adjacent windows should be shut as this allows for airborne contamination to settle (Dietze et al 2001). Preparation is vital for the ANTT, equipment used should be sterile, in date, undamaged and that correct storage has been used (Department of Health DoH 2003). Guidelines on hand washing have been devised by DoH (2005) as it recognises that most HCIAs are spread through inappropriate hand washing. Hands should be washed immediately before and after the ANTT to prevent the spread of infection...
