1. Would consider Demographic segmentation, because she just starting her own small business, which is a sole priority ship. Which is for people working as an entrepreneur as herself. So she would have base some of it off of who like chocolate and who doesn’t also she need to know which chocolate people would buy more often, and where should she open her business. So that was demographic segmentation is when you want to know things about your consumer to get there interest in what you’re doing and if the location is right for that. So when you’re starting your own business you have to do a lot of things before you can even see progress from it. So it takes over time before you’re business start’s going unless you brand with another business which will be a b2b because that can get you off your feet with this business as well. 2. A segment would be concerted strategy because it focus on one aspect which is pet supply store. So it’s targeting animal’s owner to come to a store that can have deals for them that they will enjoy for their animals. Because the customer is always right. It also fall into value proposition, which give the customer a good perspective on they want as I proclaimed. They can also now in days buy their product online and walk into the store. 3. Micromarketing is basically when you have a specific item that you want and you’re interested in the product. People have lots of reason to be specific maybe for special occasion or just have a great day by looking amazing. They would use it as a way for having different selection on products so you can choose the right one for yourself. So just the other day I was shopping looking for something lime green to match my jacket and these jean that are really comfy, so I had to decide on what store I should go to, what store had the deals, and what store didn’t. But that what it is so I was interested in these soaks and t-shirts that made the whole outfit look great. 4. Let’s say I was going to identified people that buy ray bans (aviators) or a Michael Kors clutches. Well what they both have in common is that they’re in the market right now for people to get all over the world. So what I would do is make a ad’s like a commercial with a guy with a surf board, just coming off of a wave with his aviators on his head with a catch phases to use that no one use like “These radical ass wave man, I’m about to catch another one”. Okay so this is when he coming off and he turn around flip his shades up upon his head say the line and run back into the water to catch an amazing wave man. For the next ad I would use four females in the club rocking this clutch with matching shoes. There having a photo shoot for this ad so it would be in a magazine that everyone will see. Because it the newest clutch and I know most female would want it. The ad would look like this two our laughing about something because it was so funny, the other one is getting asked where she got her clutch because another female in the background pointing to it and her mouth is like in traction to ask “where you get that”, the last one just posing smiling telling her friends lets go. 5. What I would tell her to do is do a segment on her store on to see what’s being bought what’s being not sold and what needs to be replaced. It’s basically a purchase behavior is when the consumer buy your product and you keep track of it by paper or electronically. Next you take down the percentage of it all and you go for the portion of what being sold, and subtract the fixed cost of it. 6. They position themselves in a four step by target markets, offering the brand of the product the concept and unique point of benefits. Which is the four step’s but let’s use the Gatorade as a prime example. They target their self to athlete around the world, so they’re not dehydrated and out of energy. This gives you fuel for working on your prime targets which is muscles. 7. Well as I’m persuading to be an entrepreneur I would develop a high tech desk. Which is a regular desk that has steal glass, that very high end sensitive touch screen. It’s desk that very more like see who text you. Go on social media, if you know what a resize is you can do that which can be very great for lots of business that want to showcase their products, advertisement, and have conference call that can be develop with your voice. Also your desk can talk back. I decide for this one because it more convenient for Ceo’s to have so that they can have quicker access to things. 8. Two things that catches everyone attention is sporting clothes and fashionable clothes. Because most people play sports and other loves to get dress for every occasion that there is. So most people play sport a sport or go to gym on a frequent occasion which they have ad’s for prime example Nike they use promotional ads on television with Gatorades to promote their products, and for people that want to be more on fashion they have ads of different cologne, perfume, and the season changes as for spring/summer, and fall/winter. This is where they have catalogs on what’s new H&M has them and Victoria secret has them as well so you can see what going to be in the latest fashion for that season.

...Discuss how personal differences and preference can impact organizational ethics. Possibly one of the most important aspects of organizational ethics lies with the systems of belief of those in upper management positions. Those who feel as though they should be allowed to get by with poor business practices and unethical decisions will obviously be in conflict with those who feel as though the business should only be operated under the most ethical conditions. As in any business organization, there are always differing ideas and opinions regarding how the business should be ran. However, when personal differences and preferences involve differing opinions regarding what is right and what is wrong, tremendous problems can develop. The most troubling situations can arise when workers at lower levels in the organization realize that upper management is not operating in an ethical manner, this brings up the problem of whether or not to keep quiet in order to retain their jobs, or speak up and possibly be let go. This problem does not only exist in upper levels of organization, it can take place within all levels. When employees have differing opinions and preferences at subordinate levels it can tend to cause personal conflicts within departments which can lead to reduced productivity and personal conflicts which may be detrimental to the organization as a whole. Many employees feel as though they cannot make a difference in the ethical policies and procedures of their organization...

...International Management Name: Institution: Course: Tutor: Date: Free market economies stimulate greater economic growth, whereas state-directed economies stifle growth A free market economy is a type of market economy where forces of supply and demand exist freely without interference from any authority such the government or any price setting monopolies. In this system, prices are controlled by supply and demand forces. The buyers and sellers make decisions that they themselves determine solely (citing in Watkins, 1959). State-directed economy refers to a system where the state controls means of production but the economic activity is mostly directed to some extent by the government or ministry of planning through indicative planning. According to Alec Nove (1987) State directed economy is also commonly known as centrally planned economy. The main government or central government is the body concerned with directing all sectors of the economy.   “The free market is the only economic system consistent with personal freedom. It thus not only provides the basis for greatest improvements, it also provides the basis for remaining free off political control over our lives.” (Kates, 2011,p. 4). Ignoring the role of individuals ignores everything important about how a market economy works. Free market economy stimulates economic growth as they rely on individuals to purchase and sell goods and services freely and proactively. Free market stimulates economic growth because...

...18. The Sixteenth Amendment (1913) gave Congress the power to collect an income tax; it was proposed and ratified to replace a law that had ben declared unconstitutional in an 1895 Supreme Court case. The income tax had been seen as means of putting into effect the concept of the progressive taxation, in which the tax rate increases with income. The Sixteenth Amendment put the progressive taxation on a constitutional basis. Progressive taxes helped promote social equality through the redistribution of income; that higher-income people are taxed at higher rates to help fund social programs that benefit lower-income people. This being said progressive taxes are very important to our democracy, it helped promote social equality. The Commerce clause is the third clause of the Article 1, Section 8, of the Constitution, which gives Congress the power to regulate commerce among the states. This was very important to the Constitution because the commerce clause was a major factor that increased the national governments power. After the Revolution ended and independence was a reality, it became clear that the national government had neither the economic nor the military power to function effectively. In 1786 a sever problem happened in Massachusetts where high interest rates and high state taxes were forcing farmers into bankruptcy. The Shays Rebellion revolted against established order continuing until 1787 when Massachusetts appealed to the constitution for help. The rebellion demonstrated...

Needless to say, my first experience with “make-up” was not what I’d call great. Since then though, I have grown to love make-up and so I started to wonder what makes someone a master of makeup. Body I. High fashion make-up is the foundation or rather the basics of all three make-up types. A. It’s used to identify a person’s skin type, bone structure, eyebrow and face shape. 1. Identifying all these factors into helping determine what products to use on an individual. B. Its application is solely for beauty purposes. 1. ...Informative Speech Introduction 1. In the contemporary world, underage drinking has become a global phenomenon especially in the developed countries such as in the US. As a result, the Oklahoma State has taken various measures to curb the vice. This is the reason behind the enactment of the Underage drinking laws-Social Host Law. The law was enacted in order to; a) Minimize the circumstances that lead to death of a minor or suffering physical injuries b) To enhance concentration at school especially for the minors c) To make societies responsible for their young people and develop virtues that would lead to productive work in future d) Promote healthy social life Body (Translation: I will begin by outlining the aspect of underage drinking, Oklahoma’s Social Host law and specifically where Cody’s law emanated from) 1. Consumption of alcohol by the young people in the US is prohibited especially for people who are below 21 years. However, despite the minimum age that is set for people who buy alcohol being 21 years in all the states, the legal requirements varies significantly. For instance: a) Wagenaar and Melvin argue that some states have exceptions whereby they allow some individuals who are below 21 years to consume alcohol (37). This indicates that the laws are not uniformly implemented across the states. b) In Ohio State, the social host law has not been limited to the drinking parties by the underage. Therefore any action that is undertaken by an underage guest...

...Ma. Sarah Katrina F. Santos June 16, 2014 11229888 SPEECOM - C32 Informative Speech How many of you thinks that having more customers is better than having fewer customers for a business? Can I see a show of hands? Alright. I presume that for those who said yes, which is the majority, raised their hand for the same reason. More customers mean more people buying and more people buying mean more profits for the company, isn’t it? Sounds sensible but I hate to break it to you but those of you who said yes are wrong. Today I will transform that thinking to exactly the opposite. I will introduce based on a new study the idea of ‘less is more’. Focusing on a smaller number of customers could help a company speed up growth, increase profit and improve long-term health. I am going to talk about how top companies gain customers, how they keep them and how these customers help them in expanding their business. They don’t need a lot of customers, just the right ones to keep them on top. First point is, fewer customers can speed up the company’s growth. Would you believe that some companies actually go out of business because of too many customers? Yes, that is true. The problem with these companies is they get very overwhelmed with the influx of customers that they forget to establish a connection with their customers. According to Forbes, this is one of the top 5 reasons why 8 out of 10 businesses fail - because they are not really in touch with their customers...
