Resistance Irena Sendler is considered one of the most unacknowledged heroes in the world. Causing positive impacts and accomplishing innumerable effects Irena Sendler conquers what almost seems the impossible. Throughout the holocaust period “Irena Sendler defied the Nazis and saved 2500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of the warsaw ghetto.” Therefore, her achievements and her endless efforts shall forever be cherished and respected. Irena Sendler is known as a resistance hero during the holocaust due to the fact that she put her own life at risk, accomplished various things, and had the strength to fight for what she believed in.
Irena was greatly influenced by her father who was a doctor she eventually embarked as a health worker. Throughout her journey Irena Sendler becomes appalled by the many conditions occurring in her surroundings. Irena decides to join a council for aid to the jews.She comes to the conclusion that while aiding she’ll save the lives of children taking in consideration that she'd be putting her own life at risk . Many years exceed and her plan goes unnoticed, all secrets come out at one point and when Irenas secret was revealed she was arrested, imprisoned, tortured, and sentenced to death. You learn how to appreciate. Many young people will learn how to appreciate life, mentors, and even the smallest things like laughter. A woman like Irena Sendler inspires and teaches others to have courage, she once stated, “If you see a man drowning, you must try to save him even if you can't swim.” In this quote many will be inspired and realize it doesn't take much to become a courageous man or woman like Irena
