I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the Jack McGrory Study Abroad Scholarship possible. I was ecstatic when I learned I was selected as a recipient of your scholarship. I am deeply appreciative for the opportunity this scholarship will grant me.
Currently, I am a senior at San Diego State University, a school I chose to transfer to because of its amazing Humanity program. I am majoring in Humanities because I believe that the Humanities teaches people to think critically, appreciate other cultures, and to empathize with others. I am minoring in Spanish because I want to develop my Spanish skills so that one day, in the near future, I can become a Spanish teacher.
