President James A Garfield was our 20th president of the United States of America until he was assassinated. He died on July 2nd, 1881 nine months before he was shot. My position in this is that Garfield should have not been assassinated even though when he was shot he live nine months, but the cause of the bullet and medical attention given by the doctors he died.
