Another movie based on the inhumane effects of our privatized health care system. I was not expecting the type of movie that it was, especially what John decides to do in order to save his son’s life. By now, I have seen two movies on the healthcare system that have truly amazed me and have left me with powerful messages about what we don’t see daily within our so-called expensive health care system.
This movie reminded me of the struggles that those within poorer communities suffer from: lack of healthcare coverage. In comparison, to Patch Adams this movie had a much more dramatic effect to capture the battle between loved ones and saving lives. Furthermore, it captures every part of what actual society would go through if their loved ones were denied entry into a list for heart transplants. I think that this movie serves as another reminder of what we still need to improve in our health care. But see I feel that it’s not only our health care that needs fixing but those within it seem to lack of compassion for families of this sort, who cannot pay for their medical expenses. This movie portrays the most frustrating issue that I’ve seen up to this point in several health care movies and that is the inhumane and materialistic ways that doctors handle their medical attention. I think that this really gives me a new outlet on part of why a nationalized health care is not being considered by the AMA (American Medical Association); these doctors just want their money.
These health care related movies continue to pile up which makes me realize how much opinions are flaring over the clear issues in this system, including mine. At first, I felt the compassion and frustration for John Quincy and then as the movie progressed I felt a deep annoyance that became anger for what our system is. This movie along with Patch Adams has influenced me to look for healthcare…...

Morality Obligations with Nature

...obligations with nature. Some people claim that human has the right to act and that nature is here just to satisfy human desires and needs. In the other hand, there is a group of people who state that this argument sound egoist because we are not the only species living in this world and we should share this earth with species. “Individuals can not be used as merely as a means to the end- there are ends in themselves” Kant basic ideas here are that persons have the position to make rational choice about their own lives. They have moral autonomy and fee will. This fact about person confers dignity upon them. They command respect. To treat people as a mean to some other end, be it own welfare or that of others, it is fail to respect their dignity” (Jhon O'Neill, 2008, p. 34) We can clearly see that Kant draws a distinction between person and thing. There is not point to argue Kant Theory since we draw our attention of how important is the use of natural resources for human being sustention and scientific evolution; for example, when researchers look for an illnes’s cure, Scientists probably would need natural resources and animals to prove and test theories, No scientific methods is ever proven by technology or computer programs. Only observational evidences can do that. Natural resources and animals are fundamental tools for scientific researches. New medicine requires be tested before used in human, Scientifics use animals in their experiments because animals share......

...([pic]), 'd' is a constant of the GARCH model. The two-sided p-values are based on the normal approximation. Note: 1- the software package used for analysis estimates the ARCH and GARCH errors in the same process. When ARCH effect was estimated, it gave the same result as it was found in the GARCH specifications for coefficient of U2t-1. 2- There are several models to be tested and the analysis was being long, so it has been considered that ARCH effect is present on the basis of GARCH Application. Model -1 examines the impact of introduction of index futures on NSE stock market return for the whole period under consideration. The result is tabulated in the table 5. Note - The autocorrelation is tested by Ljung-Box Q statistics test. The LB (Q=7) test accept the null hypothesis at the 5% significant level. The Breusch-Pagan test is used to see the errors of homoskedastic with the null hypothesis that the errors are homoskedastic. The test rejected the null hypothesis. These tests are done for only this model. The other models having NSEDR series are considered to be correct models. [insert table-5] The table-5 shows that the dummy variable for stock index futures (INDFN) is significant. The coefficient of INDF (b1 = 0.001161) is significant at one per cent significant level, which is indication of the fact that the introduction of index futures might have made a difference in the volatility of NSE stock returns (NIFDR). But the expected negative......
