Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani’s former aide Sudheendra Kulkarni, who along with party’s two former MPs got bail in the cash-for-vote scam, is likely to join Mr Advani during the last leg of his Janchetna yatra. Sources disclosed Mr Advani called up Mr Kulkarni after the latter walked out of Tihar Jail on Thursday evening. BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, it was learnt, also spoke to Mr Kulkarni and party leaders on Thursday. It could be mentioned that Mr Kulkarni had snapped ties with the BJP in 2009 over “serious ideological differences.” While congratulating his former aide, Mr Advani, it was learnt, invited him to join his yatra. The Delhi high court earlier this week granted bail to Mr Kulkarni along with BJP’s former MPs, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Bhagora in the cash for vote scam. The court also granted anticipatory bail to party’s sitting MP Ashok Argal in the case. The BJP will be felicitating these “whistleblowers” on Saturday at its headquarters. The party, which had been protesting against the arrest of these “whistleblowers” who “exposed corrupt deeds to the Congress led UPA” during the 2008 trust vote, will also raise this issue in the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament.

Mumbai, November 08 (ANI): The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has dismissed reports of rolling back the hike in prices of petrol adding that there has been no such directive from the government. The company further noted that it would reduce prices on its own if there was over-recovery on fuel sales and if the OPEC (oil producing and exporting countries) slash the rates per barrel. view more....

...U.S. Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigation 2012 The Strategic Information and Operations Center at FBI Headquarters is the 24/7 command post that monitors FBI operations and law enforcement activities around the globe. An FBI agent examines a potentially contaminated letter during a white powder training exercise. 2012 The FBI Story I A Message from FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III For the FBI and its partners, 2012 was a year that reminded us once again of the seriousness of the security threats facing our nation. During the year, extremists plotted to attack—unsuccessfully, thanks to the work of our Joint Terrorism Task Forces—the U.S. Capitol, the New York Federal Reserve Bank, and other landmarks on U.S. soil. Tragically, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, a hateful attack in Benghazi took the lives of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. In the cyber realm, a rising tide of hackers took electronic aim at global cyber infrastructure, causing untold damages. High-dollar white-collar crimes of all kinds also continued to siphon significant sums from the pocketbooks of consumers. And in Newtown, Connecticut, 20 young children and six adults lost their lives in one of the worst mass shootings in American history, ending a year of violence that saw similar tragedies around the country. Working with its colleagues around the globe, the FBI is committed to taking a leadership role in protecting the nation. As you can see from...

They organised GD in the groups of ten each and then there was a single interview of about half an hour which mainly consisted of HR based questions. Public Securities Corporation

...1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Public Securities Corporation (PSC), a wholly-owned stock brokerage firm of the AFP Retirement and Separation Benefits System (AFP RSBS) envisions itself to be one of the top stock brokerage firms in the Philippines. The company was acquired by the AFP RSBS from a group of private individuals in 1994 with the main objective of taking advantage of the favorable prospects in the stock market and at the same time, to generate income for the mother company. Value turnover at the Philippine Stock Exchange slowed by 30% and lost P383 billion from P1.2 trillion in 1997 to P817 billion in 1998 due to the Asian Financial crisis. The decline in value turnover resulted to less commission income generated from broking services that caused both local and foreign brokers to leave the Philippine equities market and applied for temporary suspension, while others opted to cease operations totally. Political instability also discouraged investors in Philippine equities during the Estrada Administration. Illegal trading activities, such as frontrunning, insider trading and “kiting” resulted to the loss of investors’ confidence towards the regulatory bodies, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Philippine Stock Exchange. This paper presents three frameworks to analyze the effectiveness of the company’s current strategy. Among the frameworks employed was PEST Analysis or Political, Economic, Social and Technological Analysis which was used to...

Technology and Computers

...INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION 1 Compiled By: RONKY F. DOH (aka: ronky biggy diggy daddy igp) FU DAME TALS OF COMPUTERS We are living in an information age dependent upon digital information. Digital information is electronic information, the result of computer processing. Every type of job relies upon getting information, using it, managing it, and relaying information to others. Computers enable the efficient processing and storage of information. Do not think of a computer merely as the machine with the keyboard and the mouse, although that might be true for some types of computers. Embedded computers may be inside your household appliances, the video cassette recorder, the automobile, planes, trains, power plants, water purification plants, calculators, and even inside a few toys. These embedded computers are very small. They affect our lives each day. Why, even modern traffic lights operate with computers. They are all around us. Think of additional ways in which computers affect our lives each day. Every organization somehow use(s) a computer to run the organization. Some of the places are hospitals, schools, fire department, banks, stores or supermarkets, stock exchange, police department, insurance companies, transport companies, and government agencies etc. What is a computer? A computer is many things to many people, depending on what it is being used for. At one time the computer can be a machine which processes the payroll, then it can be a machine which tabulates...

PREFACE Rationale We agreed to produce the instructor’s manual for the sixth edition of A First Look at Communication Theory because it’s a first-rate book and because we enjoy talking and writing about pedagogy. Yet when we recall the discussions we’ve had with colleagues about instructor’s manuals over the years, two unnerving comments stick with us: “I don’t find them much help”; and (even worse) “I never look at them.” And, if the truth be told, we were often the people making such points! With these statements in mind, we have done some serious soul-searching about the texts that so many teachers—ourselves...
