(This journal entry has been found in a tribes headquarters along with the tribe chief.)

Date: 1450. Night 78. Our tribe has been growing ever so rapidly. We have expanded our colonization techniques to the surrounding tribes and they seem to be heading in the right direction. The growth is tremendous and we will be in need of more shelter and food. I will have my men scout further areas for supplies, food, and water. In the coming days we will be building more houses for our newest members of the tribe, which have been a blessing from the spirits.

Night 80. The tribe has been through a lot of obstacles and tough times but tonight a few of my men have brought good news. They have located a great body of water, which they claim had no end to it. This means that we shall never run out of water as long as the food is harvested correctly. I have sent out a few of our good men to harvest this water and bring it back for examination. I am curious to see what power it holds.

Night 83. We have been noticing the sky to our east glow red at night. I wonder what force this could be. I will have to send out a scouting party to go and see if they can reach this glow, and maybe bring us some good news from there.

Night 93. Ten days have passed and I have not heard from my men that I sent forth to examine this mysterious red glow at night. I am curious to see what it holds. I will send a few of my best warriors to try and locate my missing scouts. I pray that they are in good hands.

Night 97. My warriors have returned, carrying only a few weapons that the scouting party was sent off with. They look horrified and scared, like they have seen something unimaginable. I cannot seem to get any words from them, as if they have seen a ghost. I need them to relax and tell me what is wrong. I cannot be in the dark anymore.

Night 98. My warriors just had a meeting with me. They were horrified to find out that the bright red glow in the sky was actually fire. Big fire that was taking over the other tribes' houses and people. They did not know where this fire came from or how it was spreading until these men showed up. I asked them to try to describe what these men looked like. They said that they looked like us, had different clothing, brought fire, and had some sort of weapon that could kill you in an instant from far away. My men said that they were lighter than us, color wise, and that they were pale, or ghost men.

Night 99. I have been constantly worried about who these men were and what they were doing setting fires to the other tribes. I have alerted my tribe and readied my warriors if these ghost men show up. As I do not know what they want, I would like to speak to them before any trouble emerges.

Night 100. I have not noticed anymore of the fire glow from the surrounding areas. Does this mean that the ghost men had something against the other tribes, and decided not to move forward? It would be a pleasing thought, but what if I am wrong. A few of my men came back from hunting a few hours ago. They have brought mass amounts of food that will last us for a long time. They have notified me that the surroundings are very quite as if everything around us is gone. I am hoping that the ghost men have disappeared as well.

Night 101. We have been invaded! I cannot believe I have the time to write this, but my tribes village is burning, the ghost men are here! They seem to be exterminating everything and everybody around them. Looks like they are not happy with who we are. What have we done to them? I did not even get a chance to talk to them and ask them why this must be done. If I live through this I demand to speak.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................(end of journal)
