It describes the calcification within the fibular collateral ligament. It pertains to a 52-year-old man that was presented with tenderness and pain over the lateral aspect of the left knee. According to the patient, it occurred from a fall on the stairs and the twisting of the left knee. Some of the tests that were taken such as with a tomography showed signs of myofascial edema in the lateral soft tissue. The differential diagnosis stated that it could exclude acute ligamentous injury, fracture or infection and also after the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) it also excluded avulsion fracture. After concluding that the oral cortex was intact with a smooth contour their diagnosis was Periarticular calcification that could be determined from the MRI and CT scans. The other diagnosis was hydroxyapatite depositon with confirmed calcification in the fibular collateral. This article also points out that it is important to start therapies as soon as possible while waiting for the scan results, blood cultures, and lumbar puncture. It is suggested to start antimicrobial therapy or concomitant dexamethasone based on the patient’s history and physical exam, and what type of meningitis is suspected. It is extremely important to determine whether the meningitis is bacterial or aseptic, because bacterial meningitis is life threatening. The mortality rate in adults with bacterial meningitis in developed countries is 21 percent, and in children it is 3 percent. Wallace and I will critique his work in this paper. First, a little information about the author, Dr. Wallace has taught Greek and New Testament courses on a graduate school level since the late nineteen seventies. He has a Ph.D. from the Dallas Theological Seminary, and is currently professor of New Testament Studies at his alma mater. He wrote the article in 2004. He is a contributor to collegiate level texts on Greek grammar. It is safe to say Dr. Wallace has the experience to have an opinion about the resurrection of Christ. Dr. Wallace does a thorough job of explaining through scripture and the importance of the resurrection of Christ and what it means to salvation and followers of Christ. He simply lays out his points in the essay by the use of an introduction paragraph. Based upon upper echelon and information processing theories, the researchers hypothesized that five CEO characteristics (age, tenure, education, international experience, and duality - that is, CEO also as board chairman) were significant moderating effects upon international firm performance. Using regression analyses, the researchers concluded that four of the predictors, excluding CEO tenure, had a significant moderating effect upon firm performance. The rationale for the study was described by the researchers as a need to analyze CEO characteristic attributes because such CEO predictors had not been addressed in previous studies of internationalization and firm performance.
