In the JStor assignment I had to make sure that my paper was informative, but can grab a person attention as well. I had to start off the paper with a current event and try to connect it to my topic about homeless veterans. I decide that I will talk about Super Bowl 50 as my current event paper. I wanted to show that the government officials are pushing away the homeless people near the stadium and doesn’t really care about them. I can relate it to the veteran’s population as well. I also went into depth about how mental illness can cause veterans to make poor choices in life, which causes them to become homeless.
