Justin Randall Timberlake, who is sometimes called JT, was born to Lynn Harless and Randall Timberlake in Memphis Tennessee on January 31st 1981. He was born with music in his blood, as his father was the choir director for a local Baptist church, and his grandfather, Charles L. Timberlake, was a Baptist minister. Justin Timberlake is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, businessman, and actor. Justin spent his childhood in Millington, a small town just north of Memphis. His parents divorced when he was five years of age, and both his parents have since remarried.
Justin showed himself to be a natural performer from a very early age, and by the time he was 10, he was already singing on the stage. The famous Timberlake singing and dancing style are greatly influenced by Michael Jackson, and Justin is often called the new King of Pop.
Justin’s first official paid “gig” came in 1993, when he was still only 12, when he sang on stage with the Disney Mickey Mouse Club. Justin’s time on the Disney stage proved to be a major turning point in both his professional and personal life. On this show his cast mates included future girlfriend, Britney Spears, future tour mate Christina Aguilera, future bandmate JC and future movie actor Ryan Gosling.
In the late 1990s, Timberlake rose to prominence as the lead singer and youngest member of the boy band 'N Sync,. Justin was in this band from 1995 to 2004. The band broke up in 2004 because each member wanted to pursue a solo career but Justin was the only one that had a successful one.
Following a seven-year absence from music, Timberlake comes out with his new single, "Suit & Tie," and reveals that he will release an album, titled The 20/20 Experience, which was released on September 30, 2013. He also had a successful acting career throughout the years. Timberlake starred in many movies for example some recent ones include Bad Teacher, Friends With Benefits, and Runner, Runner.
Throughout his business ventures, Timberlake has co-owned or provided celebrity endorsement for three restaurants in the United States: "Chi" opened in West Hollywood, California in 2003 and "Destino" and "Southern Hospitality" in New York opened in 2006 and 2007. He also has his own brand of tequila called 901; the name comes in part from the area code of his hometown of Memphis. Justin Timberlake has also been active in several charitable pursuits like The Justin Timberlake Foundation, which funded music education programs in schools. He also donates $100,000 to each organization that he feels should be helped. Justin Timberlake’s personal life consisted of many ups and downs. In 2002, his high profile relationship with Spears ended abruptly and the breakup influenced the lyrics in his song “Cry Me a River.” In 2003, JT started dating Cameron Diaz. Their relationship ended four years later and he wrote the song “What Goes.. Comes Around.” In 2003, Timberlake began dating actress Jessica Biel whom he married in 2013 in Italy. In an interview on Ellen, Timberlake was talking about Jessica and he said “Its nice to marry your best friend.” Now the two are planning to have a baby.

Justin: One Night Only

...One Night With Justin January 17, 2007 is a night I will remember forever. It is the night my dreams became a reality for one night and one night only. On this day at 7:30P.M., at the Save-Mart Center in Fresno, California, I saw the man of my dream, My Love, Justin Timberlake. What made this night even better was the fact that I was about 20 feet from the stage. I had floor seats to the most amazing concert ever. My roommate and I were in heaven. Justin came to Fresno on his FutureSex/LoveSounds tour. Joining him on tour was female singer Pink, who was the opening act, and producer and rapper Timbaland, who joined Justin on stage for a new numbers, including a monologue of his own. Pink opened up the show at the stroke of 7:30. She came out in a denim tank top and denim pleaded skirt. She got the party started. Her performance was energetic and amazing. She even performed an acrobatic routine in the air. At around 9:00P.M., the teasing began. The band members slowly made their way to the stage and they began to play a little interlude. The arena, already lively, began screaming their heads off, crying, shaking, jumping up and down, and anticipating the moment when the most amazing man in the world would reveal himself. The first song started up. It was the title track FutureSex/LoveSounds. Justin emerged from the center of the stage, dressed in a black suit, with a white guitar around his neck. Silk screens were surrounding the entire round stage. The stage...

Marketing Stategy

...“Effective Marketing for Products” xxxxxxx “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson. The aforementioned quote is a proverb that one can reflect on as one of the greatest accomplishments one should possess. In order to stand out in a world full of conformity, one must exude characteristics of being exceptional, unique, and different, all synonyms that essentially have a base meaning of individuality. In American modern society, accomplishments such as obtaining an undergraduate degree were once scarce, now this accomplishment is considered by most to be standard. With each passing year, to get an entry level position in today’s job market is more competitive than ever due to this increase in the amount of people with undergraduate degrees. A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree now has the same value of a High School Diploma, and having a Masters degree is now considered as the standard to attain a decent position. How can one be successful in showcasing themselves and drawing attention away from the rest? A great way for an individual to learn how to be noticed is to look at oneself from a marketing standpoint. One should ask oneself, “If I were a product, how would I market myself to the masses?” For a product to be successful, it has to be cunning, fresh, and exciting. The product has to be able to be easily sold to consumers and remain in high demand for long periods...

You Will Never Sleep with a Woman Who Looks Like That

...You Will Never Sleep With a Woman Who Looks Like That TBD Courtesy of Justin Halpern Facebook Twitter Pinterest Email comment May 15, 2012 Justin Halpern If you discount countless, forgettable chunks of time spent at school, home, and 7-Eleven, I passed most of my waking hours from ages ten through twelve playing baseball and goofing off with friends at the Point Loma Little League fields. Those two adjacent baseball fields were about a mile from my house, and twice a week my team, the San Diego Credit Union Padres, would gather there to practice. "You should just be called the Padres, not all that bullshit about credit unions," my dad said, as he drove me to the field on the opening day of the season when I was eleven years old. "But the credit union pays for us to have a team," I said. "Yeah, well, I pay for you to do everything, and you don't see me making you wear a shirt with my giant goddamned face on it." "That would be a weird shirt," I said. "Please. You wear all kinds of dopey shirts, and — what the fuck am I talking about right here? The shirt's not real, I'm just making a point. You got your gear?" he asked, pulling up to the field. Saturdays were filled with a full lineup of games, all of which the league's players were required to attend, so my parents could drop me off bright and early and then do whatever they wanted all day until my game. The prospect of a morning to himself was very exciting for my dad. "There's a lot of good teams...

...Nt1330 Service Provider Types RBOCS Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCS) was formed in 1984 due to the breakup of AT&T based on a restructure agreement. RBOCs were organized into seven regional Bell holding companies called Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, Bell South, Nynex, Pacific Telesis, Southwestern Bell, and US West. The BOCs were given the right to provide local phone service while AT&T was allowed to retain its long-distance service. RBOCs are progressively making available new telephone carrier technologies such as ISDN and DSL. (Margaret Rouse, 2008) LECS & ILECs Local exchange carriers (LECs) are separated into mandatory LECs (ILECs) and competitive LECs (CLECs).These carriers use the public switched telephone network system for accessing consumers. Unbundling the network helps to create the ability for CLECs to compete with ILECs. This is discussed as local-loop unbundling (LLU or LLUB). Unit 2 Assignment 1: Service Provider Types

...Brenda Deni NT1310: Physical Networking Unit 2 Assignment 1 3/30/2014 Service Provider Types * RBOCS: Regional Bell Operating Company Service * Regional Bell operating company (RBOC) is a term describing one of the U.S. regional telephone companies (or their successors) that were created as a result of the breakup of American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T, known also as the Bell System or "Ma Bell") by a U.S. Federal Court consent decree on December 31, 1983. The seven original regional Bell operating companies were Ameritech, Bell Atlantic, BellSouth, NYNEX, Pacific Bell, Southwestern Bell, and US WEST. It is important in telecommunications because RBOCs are generally in competition for digital data and Internet traffic with wireless service providers and cable TV companies. RBOCs are gradually making available new telephone carrier technologies such as ISDN and DSL. * ILEC: Incumbent Local Exchange Carrier * Is a local telephone company in the United States that was in existence at the time of the breakup of AT&T into the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), also known as the "Baby Bells." Cellphone Industry

...companies and the consumers. With the information from market analysts, alongside the opinions of many involved, the fact of the matter is that there is an impact on every decision made within this mobile market, which will affect the United States in the long run . As we can tell by the history of the rise and fall of cell phone competition in the United States, we started out with numbers of telephone companies, maintaining a healthy competition. However as time passed by, especially in the case of the original AT&T, it all ended up with one company eating up the rest, achieving absolute control over the market. In this particular instance, the original AT&T was forced to split into seven “Baby Bells,” by the United States Department of Justice in a long-running antitrust suit. While this stimulated a growth in competition and awareness of possibilities within the industry, all but one “Baby Bell,” Bell Atlantic, merged together to recreate the behemoth that was AT&T. Luckily, Bell Atlantic grew to become Verizon Wireless, preserving a sense of competition in a vastly unsaturated mobile market. In the market of today, these four players reign supreme, and because of this they have the ability to affect the market as they...

...will limit my discussion to what had been known as “phone service” and not broadcast entities (TV, radio, etc...) nor shall I dwell on the so-called Cable industry. The analysis shall also be primarily focused on the domestic market. Throughout the world, historically the communication industry has overwhelmingly been a monopoly. This was also true in the United States. As AT&T evolved from the late 19th century, except for a year as a nationalized company, existed as a national monopoly. In the so- called Progressive era of the 1910’s, the idea that a natural monopoly would be more efficient and economical than competing systems took hold. The idea of universal service, with rural rates being lower than urban rates (price discrimination). While never a “true” monopoly, with its substantial market share, and restrictions on connecting non-Western Electric equipment to its network, AT&T operated as one. The barriers to entry were primarily economic, the expensive right-of-way access and materials for wired connectivity being first among them. The restriction of un approved devices not being allowed on the AT&T network, limited interconnecting between competitors as well as additional connection & maintenance fees contributed to its dominance. As a monopoly, there were limited phone styles, and little need for deep price reduction through economy of scale or innovation, though state commissions regulated rates. The upside of the additional revenue, Bell Laboratories had been able...

...Eric Satchell NT1330 Service Provider Types Unit 2 Assignment 1 July 3, 2014 Comparing Service Providers There are a lot of companies providing services, but AT&T provided telephone communication to the public. AT&T monopolized the telecommunication industry until the United States took them to court for antitrust and won. AT&T was broken up into eleven smaller companies, call Baby Bells. One of the companies that derived from this law suit was the Regional Bell Operating Company or RBOC. RBOC was a term that described one of the US telephone companies that provided telephone, telegraph, and long distance to the consumers. RBOC is part of a local exchange carrier allowed to compete for business. RBOC services internet service which in turn dealt with digital data. The merging companies provided different types of service based on the Telecommunication Act of 1996. ILEC or incumbent local exchange carrier is a telephone company that provided local telephone communications before the ruling to break up the Ma Bell Company. The FCC ruled that the ILECs must provide other telecommunications service providers access to their equipment to be able to provide a better rate to the consumer. This ruling...

In 1984, Bell System was forced to divest there company into eight smaller companies, in reaction to the United States versus AT&T Anti-Trust suit. As a result of the separation and some misguided acquisitions, AT&T saw its value drop drastically. In 2005 Southwestern Bell Corp.
