Hvad kebab betyder for mig?
Bare for at sætte prikken over i’et.

We arrived at the Jury’s inn, this is where we were staying, we took our bags to our room and changed our clothes. After we’d gotten ready we phoned a taxi, we weren’t waiting too long before it came. It took us straight to Finsbury Park, this is where the festival was being held. We couldn’t believe how many people were in one place, every street surrounding the park was packed, the queues were unbelievably long, we had to wait about forty minutes in the queue, they searched our bags and let us in. We were all starving at this point, we went straight to the food vans, we all had a tandoori chicken kebab, it was lovely. Armenian Food in the Usa

...meats. It emphasizes subtlety of flavors and textures, with many herbs and spices. Given that so much time and effort is needed for marinating, stuffing, stewing, U.S. Armenian restaurants lean toward the expensive multi-course evening fare, not fast food or take-out. Traditional Armenian foods drop into two categories: the shared and the distinctive. The shared part of the Armenian diet is the Mediterranean foods widely familiar among Arabs, Turks, Greeks. This includes: Appetizers, for example: - humus - tabouleh - baba ganoush - madzoon. Next, main courses like: - pilaf (rice) - imam bayildi (eggplant casserole) - foule (beans) - felafel (vegetable fritters) - meat cut into cubes called kebabs for barbecue ( shish kebab) - boiling ( tass kebab ) - ground into kufta (meatballs) Thirty bakery and desserts like: - pita bread, - baklawa, -bourma, -halawi, -halvah, -mamoul, -lokhoom; and beverages like espresso or oghi (raisin brandy). The distinctive part of the Armenian diet is unlikely to be found outside an Armenian home or restaurant. This includes: Appetizers like: - Armenian string cheese, - manti (dumpling soup), - tourshou (pickled vegetables), - tahnabour (yogurt soup), - jajik (spicy yogurt), - basterma (spicy dried beef), - lahmajun (ground meat pizza), - midia (mussels); Main courses like: - bulghur (wheat), - harisse (lamb pottage), - boeregs (flaky pastry stuffed with meat, cheese, or vegetables)...

Jaldi Case Study

...Jaldi (Business Case Study) When looking at the proposal for Jaldi, a variety of arguments arise, both for the proposal and against it. The arguments for include the fact that "Sultan Food" is already a successful business, meaning that the Indian takeaways would be successful, just because of the established brand name. Another reason for this proposal, would include the fact that the takeaway market has increased from £2.003m in 2011, to £2.104m in 2013, meaning that there is a great chance to expand for businesses such as "Sultan Food" and increase their levels of profitability. However, there are also points against this proposal, which include the fact that even though the market value of takeaways has increased, the value of Indian takeaway has decreased, however the data for this is a little unclear, as the years provided in the case study do not match up. Nevertheless, there is another argument against the proposal which is the fact that "Jaldi" takeaways will have reheated food, and that will not go down well with it's customers, as reheated food can be purchased in ASDA or Tesco, and customers would much rather prefer freshly cooked food. To begin with, I think that opening takeaways for "Sultan Food" would be a good idea. "Sultan Food" industries aims their food at 'affluent professionals' who are ready to pay high prices for high quality food. One of their key objectives is to receive high levels of customer satisfaction, and the business has managed to achieve...

I got this from business dictionary. To work out revenue you do quantity sold x selling price Importance of revenue An increase in revenue could mean an increase in profit, however if revenue increases, expenses will also increase and so the percentage change in profit will not shift as much as one might think. Also increase in revenue could also lead to more investments back into the business, for example to buy new technology, staff training, extending a department etc.  The strategies that will help to increase Diamond Kebabs revenue is: Advertising price reduction, price increase, free gifts, bogof (buy one get one free), and product range.

Secondly Subway have ‘gained a competitive advantage’ by a different operating style to other sandwich shops, such as late opening hours, this gives it an advantage and is more in common with fast food chains such as McDonalds and Kentucky Fried Chicken than Prêt a Manger. Finally Subway have ‘attracted new customers’ this is shown by its 15-25 year olds as its core customers, it is now trendier among teenagers than McDonalds in certain parts of the country. ...Balloon Kebabs This is a good visual challenge that requires a bit of lateral thinking. Ingredients • balloons • wooden kebab skewers Instructions 1. Blow up the balloons (not full) and tie them off. 2. Challenge your audience to make a 'balloon kebab' – to insert the wooden skewer all the way through the balloon without popping it. Let a few people have a try – they will invariably try to insert the skewer fairly slowly through the side, and the balloon will pop. 3. Show them how physics can make the trick work: i. Start by lining up the skewer point with the darker patch on the balloon, opposite the tie end. Gently push the skewer through. You may find that a twisting motion works best. ii. Once the skewer is through one side, push it gently through the balloon until the point of the skewer is at the opposite end – the darker area around the tie. iii. Insert the skewer tip gently through the soft part of the balloon where the tie is – again use the twisting motion if it helps. Voila! – you have made a balloon kebab! How does it work? This trick works through an understanding of surface properties. A balloon is formed by inserting air into a flexible thin rubber sheet. Most of the balloon is stretched evenly, but there are two points where the rubber is least stretched – and thus there is the lowest surface tension. These correspond to the tied section and the darker patch at the opposite side of the balloon – in fact the darker...

Abrakebabra Case a

...Beere, Peter Mc Namara and Colm O’Gorman, 2004, UCD Business Schools. 1 “A LICENSE TO PRINT MONEY” In the early 1980’s Dublin city lacked the restaurant culture of other European cities. Instead Dublin’s social life centred on a vibrant pub culture, with bars focusing on drink sales, rather than offering food to customers. So, on leaving a pub after an evenings drinking, Dubliners had few options for late night eating. For one twenty-two year old, Graeme Beere, this problem represented a business opportunity. In 1982 Graeme, with the help of his brother Wyn, opened a new fast-food restaurant targeted at Dublin’s pub going population. The offering was new for Dublin: a product mix of kebabs, burgers and chips; late night opening; and the option to ‘eat-in’. Making a play on the word ‘kebab’ and Steve Miller’s No. 1 hit song ‘Abracadabra’, Graeme called his new restaurant ‘Abrakebabra’. Abrakebabra expanded rapidly during the 1980s and 1990s. Graeme and Wyn adopted a franchise growth strategy in the mid 1980s- a strategy common in the US but largely unknown in Ireland at the time. Abrakebabra expanded from one owner-operated fast-food restaurant in 1982 to sixty outlets by 1997- twelve company-owned restaurants and...
