Khalil Lovejoy My name is Khalil Amir Lovejoy from 7th grade Jumoke Academy Blue Hills Ave Hartford, CT, United States of America. The reason I am writing you is because I wanted to tell you about the different things I have learned so far about you and your family in general. I am writing you about your life starting at 1942-1944 in The Netherlands. I am starting here because this is when you and your family got a letter for your sister Margo to be sent to a concentration camp. To be more specific on what my topic is, I have learned that you and your family went into hiding and were stashed away in a two floor annex in the back of your father’s company building. Now mind you, the Holocaust was a TERRIBLE, and I mean TERRIBLE thing to ever come out of Hitler’s mouth in the short miserable time he was actually still breathing and murdering people but this was the worst of the worst due the slaughtering of 7 MILLION people. Oh yes, I said millions of Jews, though he himself in fact was “half” Jewish and insane. To complete his idea hitler created concentration camps or death camps in these camps the nazi soldiers would have prisoners dig thier own mass grave and were then shot in the head and kicked in the pit Mostly insane, though Hitler was a jerk who committed suicide and caused the Japanese to come up with the bright idea to bomb us in pearl harbor. Thanks you jerks. But I digress. It was bad. People had to dig their own graves, were then shot into them or were gassed to death, and no one was spared, not even children and babies! The horror! It was bad. But, if you survived, we came and got you (Yah America) out of these death sentences. But, if you didn’t, your body was then burned in ovens by heartless German Nazis who had no mind of their own due to Hitler. Sadly, this time in history had to
