If you know me, you could definitely say I live an Addicted Series appreciation life. So please bear with me as I try to articulate my feelings and thoughts about Kiss the Sky.

When I picked up Addicted to You, I had never anticipated it would easily become one of my favorite series ever. Reading this amazing books was like stepping out of my comfort zone. It’s a completely alien thing for me. That was a great feeling. I can’t never get enough of it. I had never fathom that this could be my thing until it suddenly just happened. It knocked me off my feet. Hands down to this incredible series.

Kiss the Sky is a stand-alone and spin-off book from Addicted Series. It is told from Rose Calloway and Connor Cobalt’s point of view. Like Becca said …show more content…
They are such a cute little pie geeks. If you don’t ship them, you cannot sit with us. That's the rule here.

Ryke and Daisy.

Ryke Daisy are my babies. Their chemistry was like woah over the top. It’s all over the place. I was sold.

I can say Ryke, Lo, Lily & Daisy are integral part of the series. One of the many greatest things about Kiss the Sky was Becca & Krista heightened the family bond and relationship of the characters. Like Rose main priority was wanting to take care of Lily and Daisy more than anything in the world, the cute affectionate animosity of Ryke and Connor, Lo and Rose. Connor, Loren & Ryke Bromance. Sisters love. I couldn’t emphasize enough how much I love it and I couldn’t have it on another way.

Kiss the Sky reduced me to tears. It took me by surprised by its unexpected plot twists. It astound me how this series messed up my emotions. Basically this book solidify my growing love for this series. I can talk about this books and characters forever and I don’t think so anyone wanted that. Am I right? I’m a self-proclaimed fan of Addicted Series and this amazing authors. Kiss the Sky surpassed ever bit of my expectation. I couldn't ask for anything better except more and probably more. It’s a book you wouldn't want to put

The Usage of the Traditional Reading Method and the Innovative Reading Method to the Level of Reading Comprehension of the Selected Third Year Students of Roosevelt College Rodriguez School Year 2011 – 2012: a Comparative Study

... It is a complex interaction between the text, the reader and the purposes for reading, which are shaped by the reader’s prior knowledge and experiences, the reader’s knowledge about reading and writing language and the reader’s language community which is culturally and socially situated. (Hughes, 2007) The reading process involves 5 stages which are pre-reading, reading, responding, exploring, and applying. Readers use a variety of reading strategies to assist with translating symbols into sounds or visual representations of speech and comprehension. Readers integrate the words they have read into their existing framework of knowledge. Currently most reading is either of the printed word from ink or toner on paper, such as in a book, magazine, newspaper, leaflet, or notebook, or of electronic displays, such as computer displays, television, or mobile phones. Handwritten text may also be produced using a pencil or a pen. The traditional way of reading is simply the act of reading a written or printed text. It does not use any kind of listening material. This process of reading only uses the sense of sight. It is considered as the basic way of reading. Reading is regarded as a leisure activity and at the same time educational. Meanwhile, the reading with the use of innovative reading method is the act of reading a certain text accompanied by the combination of text, audio, still images, animation, and video. In this method, the emotions...

Business Plan

...March 2011 BBC Strategic Review Candidate; 668850, Executive Summary The BBC operates in a market where competitors are continuously striving to increase their revenue and market share. It is essential that within this current climate, the organisation adapts their strategies to the internal and external demands of the constantly changing environment to secure their financial position for the future. This report has been designed to provide an in depth strategic analysis of the internal and external environments the BBC operates in. Our internal analysis has demonstrated that BBC has high levels of turnover but the gearing level has also been rising. To counteract this it has been recommended that the BBC can exploit their resources and implement a short term strategy to increase their services by publishing adverts, expanding the BBC iPlayer internationally and introducing pay per view services to create additional revenue streams to combat the stagnated and threatened licence fee and government grants. The external analysis has indicated that technology has been rapidly changing and competitive rivalry is an issue within this industry therefore a long term opportunity has been recommended for the BBC, to penetrate into BRIC and other international markets to promote their brand and take advantage of the huge growth potential in these markets whilst creating larger profits to be reinvested in quality, their people and technological advancement. ...“It doesn‟t have to be complicated. You and me and a mutual attraction. It doesn‟t come much simpler than that.” “Good times—is that all you‟re about?” Ellie shook her head. “Of course you are. Men like you always are.” “Men like me?” “Arrogant, ego as wide as the blue Aussie sky. Always looking out for number one.” Matt studied her. The telltale blush, the sparkle in those eyes, the way her fingers played over the back of the chair. “You‟re a contradiction, do you realize that? You say you don‟t want complicated, yet you‟re rejecting simple. What do you want, Ellie Rose?” Her mouth tightened and she swept to the door, yanked it open. Then she turned and glared back at him. “With you, Matt McGregor? Nothing. I just want to be left alone.” When not teaching or writing, ANNE OLIVER loves nothing more than escaping into a book. Beloved

...FINDER I love the idea of using the Greek word for Finder as the main character’s name… maybe that could even work into the title? The headlines are talking. They say that there are only an estimated 6000 Followers left worldwide and about 10 percent of them may be found in North America. China claims to have wiped them out altogether, while India believes that they can be rehabilitated. Those headlines were from two days ago blaring through my Blue Tooth and YAHWEH alone knows how many of us are left. But after 80 - 100 years of persecution, since the Government’s war on the Followers, we’ve learned how to hide in plain sight. It takes a lot more money living in The Cities than in the communes where I was raised. But after they found our camp, about forty people strong, maybe 34 of us all told were BORNAGAINSAVED. The others were people we’d find on the road hungry, alone, broken; designated appointments from YAHWEH – well after they found our camp . . . well, I’ve been living in cities since then. They called us something else then, but the name has been lost. Now they just call us walking dead or religious trash. Either way it’s all the same. If they catch us, then it’s the Big Show: no ifs, ands, or but’s. Even on the news feeds, we’re “they,” or “suspects,” or “fanatics” and never our names. We’re the nameless ones. That’s how we can tell true Followers from the government plants they keep sending us. You can tell by the scars we carry. Many of us grow our hairs...

An Ecological Reading of Hundred Secret Senses

...动物化与自然回归 ——对《百种神秘感觉》的生态解读 Animalization and Return to Nature An Ecological Reading of The Hundred Secret Senses By QIN Yuanyuan A Thesis Submitted to the School of English and International Studies Beijing Foreign Studies University In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements For the Chinese American Literature Course Supervised by Professor Pan Zhiming June 2014 Animalization and Return to Nature A Ecological Reading of The Hundred Secret Senses I Introduction Amy Tan, born in 1952, is acclaimed for her lyrically written tales of sensibility and conflicts in Chinese-American mother-daughter relationship, in which generational and cultural divergence is highlighted. Themes of loss and reconciliation, hope and failure, friendship and familial conflict, added with mystic oriental flavor and healing power, have made Tan’s writing emblematic and well-received. Following the publication of The Joy Luck Club (1989), The Kitchen God's Wife (1991), Amy Tan’s third novel The Hundred Secret Senses (1995) again enjoys a high popularity and evokes strong responses from both readers and critics. Despite the fact that The Hundred Secret Senses still exhibits Tan’s trademarks of “a strong sense of place, a many-layered narrative, family secrets, generational conflict, Chinese lore and history”, unlike the previous two that are generally praised, this novel gets mixed opinions. Most reviewers receive the...

Gabriel's Inferno

...Prologue Florence, 1283 The poet stood next to the bridge and watched as the young woman approached. The world ground to a near standstill as he remarked her wide, dark eyes and elegantly curled brown hair. At first he didn’t recognize her. She was breathtakingly beautiful, her movements sure and graceful. Yet there was something about her face and figure that reminded him of the girl he’d fallen in love with long ago. They’d gone their separate ways, and he had always mourned her, his angel, his muse, his beloved Beatrice. Without her, his life had been lonely and small. Now his blessedness appeared. As she approached him with her companions, he bowed his head and body in a chivalrous salute. He had no expectation that his presence would be acknowledged. She was both perfect and untouchable, a browneyed angel dressed in resplendent white, while he was older, world-weary and wanting. She had almost passed him when his downcast eyes caught sight of one of her slippers — a slipper that hesitated just in front of him. His heart beat a furious tattoo as he waited, breathless. A soft and gentle voice broke into his remembrances as she spoke to him kindly. His startled eyes flew to hers. For years and years he’d longed for this moment, dreamed of it even, but never had he imagined encountering her in such a serendipitous fashion. And never had he dared hope he would be greeted so sweetly. Caught off balance, he mumbled his pleasantries and allowed himself the indulgence of a smile...
